Suit up for Montreal ?

Suit up for Montreal ?

I'll be in Montreal this week. Was wondering if it's more appropriate to suit up or just wear fitted shirt and jeans while going out? I'll be going out on Saint Laurent Blvd mostly.

I'm from NYC so I naturally suit up, but unsure if Montreal has a different vibe.

Suiting up would be pefectly fine in Montreal.

Though, that is the least of issues with that location.

My experience was that overdressing can get you called out a bit. In a nice way, though.

I think black flat front trousers and a nice button down pastel dress shirt would help you fit in just about anywhere except restaurants explicitly requiring suit and tie, especially when the weather is warm.

When it's cold, go for jeans and a sports coat with a shirt of your choice..

And where nice leather shoes that match.
