Venezuela is collapsing

That 2nd video in tactitians post is NSFW.

That video shows exactly what happens when police and military is coming off the hook, but not completely - not yet. I saw a female officer mount another woman and, taking her helmet off, starts beating her around the head whilst her fellow colleagues watch.

This is what happens when Marxists start losing the plot. The violence starts escalating and before you know it you have mass murders being committed.

Every Marxist regime has done this. I wouldn't be surprised if they're building holding centres to torture and "disappear" people in the near future.

Guys on here talking about opportunities of banging shouldn't think being a foreigner will keep you safe from these regimes. You're more likely to be blamed as foreign agents and end up with your throat slit.

So according to arch neo-con Nick Cohen, the Left's support for Venezuela is the same as sex tourism in what has to be 2016's dumbest take.

Strange really, is that the same Nick Cohen and his ilk are less willing to talk about their own 'successes' like Yugoslavia, Iraq and Libya whom Cohen wholeheartedly supported illegally invading on spurious grounds and blowing the crap out of.

I said this to my parents last week;" you'll start hearing about this in 2-3 weeks time".

I completely forgot how the media behaves these days and figured they won't, not yet. Can you imagine major news channels broadcasting what was wrong with the country before it descends into a bloodbath?

With no bodies on the streets and no dead children to parade if they were to do continued news coverage the likely outcome the audience will come to is how socialism is once again fucking countries up.

The UK, Europe and USA is undergoing threats from this style of government with the US being the most important. Showing the end game of what the likes of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton would accomplish would give Trump the White House easily.

They already have and are: Chavistas have been unlawfully incarcerating and assassinating opponents for years, either openly in the streets (wearing red shirts, on motorbikes) or through brutal police or military operations. Hell, the Chavistas even brutally kidnapped the mayor of the capital city from his office, and recorded the scene, the sadistic maniacs!

And yes, barring a victory from D. Trump, it might well be the future of our Western world...

This happened to me years ago when a category 5 hurricane was approaching Houston. As soon as it was announced on television there were a million cars already on the road, so we decided to stay. We went to Walmart for supplies and all the shelves were cleaned out. You need to have supplies stored in advance, because once the shit hits the fan it's too late.

Im mexican, my dad and I took a road trip through Houston (his brother in law lives there) on our way to Louisiana on work related business a few of months right after Katrina.

Man, the amount of destruction we say was unbelievable. Houses and bridges and roads washed away. Acres of stacked cars waiting for compaction. Folks we saw on country roads looking at us like they where about to shoot. A band of mexicans wanted to hitchhike but their hands where fiddling so I drove off. What would I had done had I been a gun toting, law upholding american? These where 8 dirty dudes in the middle of fucking nowhere standing in the middle of the road.

It was saddening to me finding out that years afterwards that there where still people living in the Astrodome. To think that we where seeing the most powerful nation in the world being dragged through the mud makes one onder what would happen, how things would have went down in a poorer country, one less educated, least equipped to overthrow their own leaders if needed.

The possibility of shit going down world wide is not too farfetched. Perhaps very unlikely, but not impossible. If entities like the Soviet Union went down, then the American Hegemony can go down too. And if that happens there will be no one left to break their fall. The whole world would collapse. The very least we can do to protect ourselves if it comes to that is to be prepared. To have a small supply of food stored away. To keep a gun if legal/possible, or some weapon if thats whats available (I keep an axe hung behind my door.) To maintain a network of friends and allies we can trust not to fuck us over in a survival scenario. To own, and use, a well maintened set of tools, To learn (even if its just watching a few youtube tutorials) skills that would be nice to have in such state of affairs: fishing, hunting, food canning, woodworking, vehicle repair, beer making, whatever will make you a good friend to have when we go back to Bartertown.

Desk jobs are nice now but in such scenario where we get one hour of electricity a day as in Venezuela, the guy who knows how to dress a wound or raise pigeons will be more sought after than the guy who knows how to unlock your Iphone. There are things we learn that we may never use in our lifetimes, and there are things we learn hoping never to use them.

Venezuela is collapsing

Looks like they've decided to take notice now, albeit the story is buried back in the Finance pages:

http://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/w...24bc49f214

Quote:Quote:

THE army has moved in, Coca-Cola has stopped production and inflation is expected to hit 500 per cent.

Venezuela’s economic crisis has ratcheted up a gear in the last week after President Nicholas Maduro deployed the army to strategic areas for two days of “war games” designed as a show of strength to a population increasingly pitted against him.

The drastic escalation follows a major deterioration in the country’s finances that have seen widespread shortages of food, basic goods and power cuts, fuelled by years of economic mismanagement and corruption that have seen unemployment skyrocket to 17 per cent as the oil price has plummeted.

University College London’s leadership professor Marco Aponte-Moreno, who was born and raised in Caracas, told news.com.au the past few days had seen the stakes raised for both corrupt officials and those dying from lack of food and medicine in his home country.

“The stakes are very high [for the government] if they lose power,” he said, adding that many involved in illegal activities could be charged and taken to trial.

“The situation has become a matter of life and death for the government and also a matter of life and death for the people because people are dying because they don’t have their medicines, the water they need.

“It’s very sad to see the country like this, especially when you take into account that this is a country that has large natural resources. I have to admit it isn’t a surprise. Corruption, shortages are things that are not new in Venezuela but they have never reached this level before.

Over the weekend, President Maduro congratulated the armed forces of the “great success” of the huge military effort that saw more than 500,000 service men and women, reservists and militia deployed alongside anti-riot displays and Russian made jets on the streets in a hastily convened show of strength.

Venezuela is “a country prepared to win the biggest war that could happen,” he said in a televised speech that was billed as a warning against American aggressors intent on bringing down the country, but was instead widely interpreted as a warning to locals not to rise up against him.

“Venezuela is threatened,” said the Venezuelan defence minister Vladimir Padrino López ahead of the display. “This is the first time we are carrying out an exercise of this nature in the country. In terms of national reach, it’s going to be in every strategic region.”

The show of force comes during a 60-day state of emergency declared earlier this month in response to a petition signed by more than 1.8 million people demanding a recall referendum on Maduro as a leader.

Rather than honour the constitutional article that would trigger the vote, Maduro hit back with the emergency declaration that gave the government extra control over basic goods and services.

Prof Aponte-Moreno said the people were now suffering under a deadlock whereby the state of emergency has suspended the constitutional rights which could see Maduro ousted as leader.

While the army has remained loyal to the leader so far — largely due to the fact ministers are often stacked with military elites — the professor fears the government does not have “100 per cent control” which could lead to explosions of violence on the streets in the coming weeks.

“There’s also a lot of discontent in the army,” he said, citing reports some soldiers are not as aggressive in quashing discontent as they once were.

“They also suffer the consequences of not having food and medicine, they’re also having a hard time. If Maduro continues saying that he’s not going to recognise [the article that triggers a referendum] there’s definitely going to be a coup by the end of the year.”

The dire situation is a far cry from the socialist experiment led by Hugo Chavez when Venezuela was awash with cash from oil costing more than $US100 a barrel.

However after years of economic mismanagement, corruption and a plummeting oil price, the country is now plagued with shortages of food, medical supplies and basic goods like toilet paper.

Again, refer the Slate article 3 years ago calling Venezuela an economic miracle. Fuckheads.

Quote:Quote:

While foreign luxuries exist, locals are unable to afford them in a place where inflation is expected to run at 500 per cent. Drinks giant Coca-Cola was forced to stop production recently due to a lack of sugar supplies, while last month, brewery Empresas Polar was forced to give up making beer due to a lack of imported barley.

Meanwhile harrowing pictures of hospitals show a lack of soap, medical equipment and antibiotics.

Power blackouts are common and have forced the government to restrict work to just two days a week in some areas — with companies expected to follow suit.

The International Monetary Fund expects the economy to contract eight per cent this year against the backdrop of uncertainty with one in five people unemployed by next year.

The worsening situation has stoked fears among neighbours and US officials.

A senior intelligence official told The Washington Post earlier this month: “You can hear the ice cracking.”

“You know there’s a crisis coming.”

On the streets, more violence is likely in the coming weeks as opposition leader Henrique Capriles reportedly told Reuters he had “high-placed allies” in the army.

“I want to tell the armed forces that the hour of truth is coming,” he said. “You must decide whether you’re with the constitution, or Maduro.”

The US remains supportive of mediation efforts led by former leaders from Spain, Panama and the Dominican Republic to bridge the gap between the government and opposition before things get worse.

“We support this dialogue as a way of guaranteeing respect for the will of the Venezuelan people, the rule of law, the separation of powers and the democratic process,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner said.

I'd have to say Don't Bang Venezuela unless you're going down there with an AK-47 in hand.

There was a guy on b/ and gif/ on 4chan posting some stuff he was doing with a Venezuelan maid he had, she would suck his dick, get fucked, all for toilet paper and toothpaste, some anons started questioning if he really was in Venezuela and then he posted a pic of the maid next to a stash of Bolivares to prove he was in Venezuela, the maid was a middle aged woman married with kids that apparently the husband did not care too much as long as she was getting something of it.

I bring this up because is to show how the situation can make people do things they never thought would do, this is especially concerning to women, during war time and shit hit the fan situation like Venezuela you would see more and more women giving pussy and sucking dicks for food, sanitary towels or gallon of water.

We should send a few SJWs over there to show them how good socialism really is and how awesome is for women to suck dick for maxi pad.

Women using their bodies to fight for survival is older than civilisation. You got no money, no weapons to get what you want and no gang to support you, whats left?

Every woman without help would do this unless they choose suicide.

The down side is they will be hairy due to no razors, smell bad due to no soap and have stinking breath because no toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Other than that fuck all you want. On the other hand, bring a clean up kit for the woman before hitting it.

Gentlemen, we are departing from an age of women and entering into an age of men. Prepare yourselves accordingly. The choices you make now will play their part in determining whether you end up banging a Venezuelan peasant in return for toilet paper or whether you end up being the husband of a Venezuelan peasant that's getting banged in return for toilet paper.

p.s. Don't doubt for a second that she's considered every possible means to secure a pension from Don Toothpaste by means of pregnancy.

Make her clean first before you bang, obviously if she needs soap, tp, toothpaste, etc., things might be... ripe.

Hmm...I don't watch any of these shows. Now I know why.

I'd never seen John Oliver before. I didn't really find any of his jokes funny.

And I just realized, if you don't find these shows funny, they're pointless. News without objective, well-thought out discussion is pointless. Which means these shows exist for two reasons:
(1) Entertaining humor...I choose other sources, since I found nothing humorous or entertaining
(2) To keep the finger on the pulse of society. I don't discuss politics much with friends or coworkers, so no point there. I'm not in the media, so no point there.

"No good well thought out government action has ever included the words 'fuck it'." That was the funniest thing he said.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
