Greek, I have some idea what it means but I would like to hear your perspective of Soviet Russian play.

I second this request. Somebody needs to do a "How to game a Russian" thread.

Deb: What you're saying is just hard to swallow. You say hi, smile, and most girls (80%!) are eager to chat, sometimes with your Android phone? Also you haven't mentioned where you're doing this (street, mall, etc). I'm in the Baltics and it's freezing cold. I go to the mall and walk around for very few opportunities.

Anyway, I hope what you say is accurate, but you're making it sound like day game in Ukraine is easier than America. I want to believe, but I'm skeptical.

I've been out on the street with him, and Deb is like all super-naturals who think it would be as easy for anyone as it is for them. He's 6'5", has blue eyes, and hardly anyone is that tall here. He has some kind of boyish charm that escapes me ( haha) but the chicks just say "Hi" right back. Deb is also a marketing guy and I don't think he's lying but he just naturally puts things in a favorable light.

Roosh with beard and long hair will in my opinion trigger the anti-Middle-easterner gene, and I say "gene" for a reason, Russia and Ukraine fought for centuries to solidify the countries against the Mongols. It's not a fashion, but something centuries old.

I also think people in the 2nd world generally don't "get" the idea of long hair. Chicks under 25 are too young to have any familiarity with hippie culture, and everyone is struggling to establish a clean and middle class-looking life. It's not just a question of following the rules here like in the State to look clean-- a bottle of laundry detergent might cost $3, but you only make $300 per month. So looking bohemian just looks lazy to people here.

Countering that will be his skills and height. I don't know how well he will do but I'm guessing somewhere between Deb and me. I've gotten numbers but they mostly flake, I'm 55 and moderately out of shape ( but going to the gym. However I can get much younger chicks to at least meet up with me which would be almost impossible in the USA.

I cut my long hair soon after getting here, not because it attracted hostility, it's just that in a 2nd world country there's no conformity/consumerism to rebel against. There's just oligarchs and the people they shit on.

The curse isn't conformity and boredom, it's how difficult it is to stay healthy and survive. So the effort involved in having long hair just seems frivolous in the 2nd world.

Hey guys,

I was talking to 2 guys a few days ago. One of them is 29 and lived in Ukraine until the age of 13. The other guy was about 50, was born and raised in US, but had family in Ukraine, so he made many trips there over the years. They told me some amazing things about Ukraine.

They said the ratio of women to men was very high. Guys have their pick over there. If a girl isn't married by the time shes 25, its over for her. Why would a guy take a 27 year old when he can have a 20 year old wife.

Women are desperate for men, due in part to the ratio issue, but also due to the fact that there are not a lot of quality men. Lots of men there are alcoholics, and die young (these words are straight from their mouths.)

The situation is so bad that they actually have dating agencies on many streets. I asked the guys if these are legit dating agencies, or prostitution rings. They said its legit. Women just want to meet decent guys. You can walk into a dating agency over there and look trough a book of girls and just point out the ones you want to meet and they'll set up a date for you.

The girls are very in shape too. Due to the high competition, they have to keep them selves looking good. Even through they dont make a lot of money, they spend their money on nice outfits, and always wear high heels, and look their best. They are very feminine in personality too.

Being a low income country, it is very corrupt. One of the guys told me a story about a friend of his in Ukraine:

His friend was out at a party, and was really really drunk. He gets in his car and starts driving home. He's so messed up he sees 3 roads instead of one, and just tries to stay on the middle road. He sees police lights behind him. They pull him over. Now in Urkraine, the police dont not walk over to your car. The opposite, you get out your car and walk over to theirs. So this guy gets out the car, and starts to stumble his way over to the cops. He starts vomiting violently, and eventually makes it over the the cop car. The cops are like "license and registration please." And he's like "Listen, I know the drill. Here's $200 for you, and here is $200 for you." The cop thank him, and he starts stumbling back to his car. Half way there he realizes there is no way he can make it home in his fucked up condition. So he walks back over to the police car, and offers the cops $200 more dollars to drive him home. The cops happily accept. One of the cops drives his car, while he rides shotgun in the cop car. They turn on the police lights and drive him home like a VIP!

The 50 year old guy is married to a 25 year old Ukrainian girl here in the US. They made Ukraine sound amazing.

One thing is that not a lot of people speak English there, so they recommend learning a little Russian.

Has anyone been to Ukraine? Please give a report.

A good article:
http://ukrainianguide.com/why-kyiv-kiev-...le-heaven/

The article is good but not wholly true. It came from "What's On" a newspaper for English speaking tourists and expats, so it's very pro English speaking male. Basically, if you suck in the West at picking up girls, you'll suck in the Ukraine. The only difference is that you'll get dates where girls will use you for expensive meals and get you to buy them presents. You will get no sex in return. If you are a strong and good player in the West you will get sex.

So basically this might not be directly related to the above posts but this is what happened today with me:

I live in Kharkiv, and was waiting for a tram with my girlfriend when a guy came up and asked her (in Russian - which I don't understand well), something like : "Aren't you embarrassed to be with this non-Slavic guy? Didn't your parents teach you good manners? Find a Slavic guy! Are you gonna sleep with him or what?"
She said - "yes!"
Then he turned to me, and said: "Hey you, man!"

But I remained silent and acted aloof and then he turned his own way.

I had the option of kicking his ass there but I just thought maybe to bear a bit - though if he had touched her/me then it would have been some serious shit for him there.

Just wanted to ask you - How do you guys act against on such morons? Where do you draw the line between bearing and kicking ass?

Ignoring them works great. Who cares what some moron thinks. He is just jealous.

No need to get physical until you are physically threatened. You are a foreigner and will be the one that gets into trouble regardless who starts it.

Just spent a night out in Kiev. The girls were overall more attractive than in Moscow, but attitude was not much better, at least in the clubs. Hit up three spots: multra and sky bar in arena, which is basically an "entertainment complex," with different bars and clubs.

Sky bar was a 25$ cover charge, but had a great ratio and a decent attitude. Multra had decent music but it was too loud and same cold attitude as in Moscow. Same with the club I hit later, Deluxe - 25$ cover charge and attitude.

The best set I had I met walking in the street, we just asked some girls for directions near Arena trying to get to the club area, and they walked us to the bars. Not sure whether they hung out to practice their English or because they were interested. I originally opened in Russian, but even though my grammar was perfect they wanted to show off their English.

Either way, the first question I got was: "What are you doing here?"
I wasn't expecting this level of interrogation, so I answered tourism (which was true, since I was only there for two days).
Then they asked "You're not here to find a girlfriend?"

Uy, seems like the Columbia phenomenon is catching up to FSU....

Spent a night in Odessa...awful in the winter.

No dude, Russia and Ukraine is nothing like Colombia. The people are re-nowned for being hard nosed. They never were, and never will be interested in your Foreign status. They are independent and proud countries especially in Moscow and Kiev which has the most Billionaires in the world. The fact that you think it's some kind of third world country is laughable.
Are you thinking of heading to any 2nd tier cities?

I have described the situation in Kiev.Kiev is extremely rewarding but you need cash and to play the Russian oligrach game. You need to be completely dominant speak good Russian and be ready to spend at least 200 euro everyday.

I had great times in Kiev although I always choose it when time is not enough to visit provincial cities.(for example if I have only one free weekend Kiev is only 2.5 hours of Athens by plane.I travel there and have the time of my life).

As for clubs like D' Lux there are several willing girls but as I have written before one needs to beat the Turks,Arabs and western Europeans who go to this club for the same purpose.Sometimes the battles there for the hot girls are extreme. In one case a foreigner(?) guy punched me in the back while I was talking to a top girl. The punch was so heavy that I could not walk for half an hour I was paralyzed. So one needs to be ready to take risks get into the battle and win against everyone not minding the reactions and repercussions.

No foreigner likes the presence of the other foreigners there and everyone thinks he is superior.I know them all so I can beat them if they do not react physically.

As for the questions the girls ask(why are you in Ukraine?) they are the classic Ukrainian girls shit tests which I have analyzed in the relative thread.

I saw lots of Turks in Ukraine, so as a South Asian, what's the best way to set one's self apart from them? Obviously once I'm talking it's a different story but in the loud clubs it's alot harder to demonstrate my American accent. I heard they flood the Odessa clubs in the summer.

On the shit tests, wish I read that thread before I went. I live in Moscow , though, which took care of most of the objections usually raised by the shit tests. I'm only basing my impression off a small sample size. Clubs were too loud to actually DHV in any useful manner on a large number of girls. Will be back in a month or two for another try, thanks for the tips.

I don't know about South Asians but as a Balkan I have no problem to differentiate myself from the Turks. It shows immediately.Let's say we are more like tigers while the Turks function more as herd of wolves.

Generally Turks Arabs rely very much on cooperation. This is their strength. They coordinate their moves and are based on sheer numbers. For example if a disco gets overflood with Turks or Arabs there is possibly no place for everyone else. The Americans may appear as naïve since they go solo but it has gotten them some serious balls.A Turk would not display these balls when alone. This is sth to take into account.

We Balkans also prefer not to hunt in herds because we need to show fearless.Hunting in herd is totally beta.So you have to be like tiger attack and grab the victim quickly from the side and not leave it from your teeth despite the wolves trying to bite you from all around.
