Deb: What you're saying is just hard to swallow. You say hi, smile, and most girls (80%!) are eager to chat, sometimes with your Android phone? Also you haven't mentioned where you're doing this (street, mall, etc). I'm in the Baltics and it's freezing cold. I go to the mall and walk around for very few opportunities.
Anyway, I hope what you say is accurate, but you're making it sound like day game in Ukraine is easier than America. I want to believe, but I'm skeptical.
I've been out on the street with him, and Deb is like all super-naturals who think it would be as easy for anyone as it is for them. He's 6'5", has blue eyes, and hardly anyone is that tall here. He has some kind of boyish charm that escapes me ( haha) but the chicks just say "Hi" right back. Deb is also a marketing guy and I don't think he's lying but he just naturally puts things in a favorable light.
Roosh with beard and long hair will in my opinion trigger the anti-Middle-easterner gene, and I say "gene" for a reason, Russia and Ukraine fought for centuries to solidify the countries against the Mongols. It's not a fashion, but something centuries old.
I also think people in the 2nd world generally don't "get" the idea of long hair. Chicks under 25 are too young to have any familiarity with hippie culture, and everyone is struggling to establish a clean and middle class-looking life. It's not just a question of following the rules here like in the State to look clean-- a bottle of laundry detergent might cost $3, but you only make $300 per month. So looking bohemian just looks lazy to people here.
Countering that will be his skills and height. I don't know how well he will do but I'm guessing somewhere between Deb and me. I've gotten numbers but they mostly flake, I'm 55 and moderately out of shape ( but going to the gym. However I can get much younger chicks to at least meet up with me which would be almost impossible in the USA.
I cut my long hair soon after getting here, not because it attracted hostility, it's just that in a 2nd world country there's no conformity/consumerism to rebel against. There's just oligarchs and the people they shit on.
The curse isn't conformity and boredom, it's how difficult it is to stay healthy and survive. So the effort involved in having long hair just seems frivolous in the 2nd world.
