Contrary to increasingly wild rumors, my absence from the forum had nothing to do with the shift in political tenor (though I've disagreed with its overall value, and have never made a secret of that) or any other conspiracy. I've handled much worse than some conservative shit, half of which I say in mixed company with a straight face.

A mix of serious professional deadlines, traveling, and--to some extent--needing a break after 4-5 years of intensive participation, mixed with knowledge that the moderation and operation duties were in good hands, with Soma and Roosh at the helm. Soma was at 100 within a couple of weeks, and I went into my sarcophagus for a quick nap.

I awake to some changes--not the least of which is this impressive Wiki. I have some catching up to do, but I'm well-versed in plowing through this forum like the bitches that await Tuthmosis II.

If you ask why I didn't make a big announcement of it, you can easily deduce that it's because of the (unmerited) forum drama that would have ensued. Previous melodramatic "break" threads would have paled in comparison.



I've been through so many great wars and battles with this forum that, like Brooks on Shawshank Redemption, I don't know life any other way. I might get out for a little bit, but I'll commit some petty crime to get back into the slammer.

In catching up, I'm learning that there were some--though not-too-significant concerns raised--that I was somehow implicated or affected by the security crisis. I would take offense at this, given how many other crises I've fought against and prevented on this forum, but will respond to them to alleviate any lingering concerns.

First with this:

Secondly, with an emphatic no. If I'd been out to hurt the forum, Roosh, or any related entity, I wouldn't have written what I did on ROK, participated to the degree that I did here, and fought trolls day and night. I've had the knowledge to do harm, and never once did it cross my mind. In fact, I've gone above and beyond--sometime bending rules--to protect members. So let's kill that noise, if it at all still exists, starting now.
