Bring girls to apartments in Saigon

Hi!
I'm looking for (serviced mostly)apartments in Saigon D1 and have been in contact with some agents/landlords. The two or three i have asked all said i have to register overnight guests with police?! What does that even mean?

That cant happen since i of course intend to have multiple FwB's/plates.
Fast advice is really appreciated since i would like to move into a apartment as fast as possible.
(All advice regarding housing here is very appreciated).

Yes, i am living in a airbnb right now, no kitchen, not a suitable place to stay for longer than a few days. Maybe i suck at airbnb-searching but i havent found anything close to interesting there.

I never had that problem in Saigon, it's technically required by police but normally if it's an apartment they don't enforce that.

The real problem I have in Vietnam is that these places are quite personal and always have reception/security, you can't sneak any girls into your place, everybody knows what you're up to.

I even got completely cock blocked by an old man before who would work the gate to my alley. He started shouting some crap in Viet to a girl about how I bring a new girl back every week. In district 1 there are people everywhere on the street, sitting and watching everything, especially what a Western guy gets up to. It didn't stop me but it got a bit frustrating.

Vietnam is a place where this kind of thing is still frowned upon. Honestly, you might want to consider Bangkok or Manila for your purposes. Plenty of casual sex and a non-judgemental populace to boot.

PM me for accommodation options in Bangkok.

I think better you should go to Manila or Thailand. No issues there and women are way easier.

Yeah that is my biggest concern with those apartments, i really got the feeling of not much privacy.
I did however look at one apartment with no security, you get your own key into the garage and from there take the stairs up to the apartment. I think it is rarely for someone to be there.
Maybe its worth taking that one then. I do feel i am missing out some on the ability to make friends with people in you building though, what do you think about that? Is that a good place to make friends?

Yeah i would definitely go to one of those places if sex was what im after.
I am mostly in Saigon for starting up online businesses but I do think it is a good opportunity to practice some game/plate spinning and such.

Yeah it's pretty normal in these little apartments that you end up friends with everyone in the building including those that work there but again that also makes it a little too personal for my liking. You will be fine just bringing a girl back every now and then but it might get awkward if you're doing it too regularly.

Another option would be to get a place in the more professional big apartment blocks like the Manor in binh thanh district. It's all key card there and nobody is going to give a shit what you get up to. I'll be back in Saigon in a couple of weeks and got a place in a big new serviced apartment building in district 1, it's expensive but should eliminate the bullshit.

Yeah i think that is too personal for me aswell, i alot of time alone and i like to do that [Image: smile.gif]
I dont know how many girls and how often i will do it, but i really dont like the idea to be restricted.

I had a look at the Manor, it is actually almost within budget for me, $550, i think i will have a look at one of those cause i really like those kind of big buildings.

Do you mind telling me what you will pay for that one you will hire? I've only been here a couple of days and dont really know what would be considered expensive.

Yep I don't like being restricted too but perhaps you could look at in a positive way that you should be selective and only pursue the highest quality girls to make it worth it [Image: smile.gif]

The place I booked is a short term thing, around $60 a night, for a couple of weeks. If I was staying longer I would get a contract somewhere to bring the price down.

Friend stayed at the Viet Dong hotel, it was around $33 a night, very nice and the desk just ask for the girl's ID before they allowed her up.

Can't provide any advice on rentals sorry.

Haha cool, if it is "Vien Dong" you mean, I stayed there aswell with my brother in december, didnt try to bring any girl there but the hotel was very nice for the price we thought.

I am probably signing a contract tomorrow on a apartment, no security or anything so no one will know when i come home and who i bring [Image: smile.gif]

What you need to find is a landlord that is on good terms with the local police. Officially everyone has to be registered where they are staying in Vietnam, and the police do visit to check this in the 'red book' that is held by all landlords. (This is where he keeps your passport details, visa no etc. when you move into a place)

The best way to find a landlord like this is to ask and watch his or her reaction. Sometimes as a foreigner they will just come out and say 'guests no problem' or 'anyone can stay.' Try and get them to write it into the rental contract or delete it if it's already there to prevent any future hassles. Vietnamese may seem openly a little more conservative than their Thai counterparts but behind closed doors they are probably the horniest women i have ever met... ;-)
