That's exactly why it's try-hard. There's a difference between buying someone a drink who has earned it with conversation and buying their affection with a drink. It's your money, time, and effort though... so don't let me tell you what to do.
I don't think chicks can earn anything. Sometimes you just feel like sharing. The whole "you bought her a drink, now you are her bitch" thing is mostly in your head. I used to think like that a long time ago, but I realized it was basically in my head.
If anything, a chick 'earning' a drink through conversation is the bigger evil than organizing a night out with your boys and some ladies you already know. If I invite somebody out, of course I'm going to share with them, male or female.

Shot, its all good man. You keep on taking girls to clubs, buying them drinks and definitely show them you ain't broke and are a baller. I'm sure the club managers love you too! There is nothing a nightclub manager loves more than tying their (male) clients down with bottle service so they can't bounce elsewhere if the venue sucks!
You sound unreasonable bitter about all this. I mentioned one little gambit: going out with your friends, getting bottles, inviting some women along. I wasn't trying to get philosophical about the metaphysical issues of whether or not buying drinks makes you anything. Who cares what the night club manager thinks? Do I care what the Burger King manager thinks when I buy a whopper jr value meal?
If anything, I should thanking them, night clubs have been kind to me over the years, and I've abused my nightlife connections for all I could.
Also, bouncing around in a big group of guys(which was the situation I posted earlier) is a not that practical. When I am out alone, I typically get stamps at 2-4 venues, and club hop, depending on the music. Doing that with a big crowd, especially while drinking, not nearly so agile.
BUT, and here is where the invited ladies come in. If we have a bunch of people, including our own women, we don't HAVE to worry about if the rest of the club sucks or not. We already have our party and our women for the night. We're good.

It just makes my game that much tighter.
How is your worrying about me going to make YOUR game tighter? You and gmac are taking this way too serious, way too personal. You seem bitter, and I dunno why.
Going out on the cheap is pretty easy and I did that for years. These days, I don't have to. Generally speaking, I have more money than time, so this is a better route, SOME NIGHTS. My "cost per notch" matters to me even less than the gas mileage on my truck, which is shitty.
