I want someone to break this video down and explain to me how a group of people can be so emotionally repressed.

It's so strange - you get these micro expressions that flash across the students faces - like they want to laugh, or scream in anger, or cry in shame - yet they hold it in every time. It's so tense. If they just let it out, just once, they'd diffuse the whole room, but they never do.

It gave me a new insight on SJWs - they're like the Victorians. Not the historical Victorians, but how we imagine them - concerned with manners, to the point they become so anal they never have an orgasm.

No wonder they all have Fetlife accounts - the only way that little blond could ever let lose is if she was (consensually) tied to a bed and violated with toxic masculinity.

It's the death of intimacy. In order to be close to someone you have to get beyond polite. These students talk like they're speaking to a teacher who could downgrade them for the wrong answer. They've internalized all the attitudes of their teachers, and are imposing their draconian rules on the world and in their personal relationships.

It's so sad. I know Mormons with more freedom in their lives.

Yeah, especially the hot little blonde with the glasses. You could definitely see the microexpressions in quick succession passing across her face: Anger/disgust/indignation.

She wasn't even that pretty, but something about all that repressed emotion really got me going.

I actually spent a little time using my meager Google skills trying to find any sort of interview with, or blog post by these people, explaining their side of things, but I wasn't able to track anything down.

That is something I would like to read. Reading it would feel like you were an anthropologist encountering a reclusive tribe for the first time in modern history.

Great post. You know where these people come from? They're people who are controlled by fear. They've lived their entire lives in an environment where if you say one incorrect thing or express one "wrong" idea then you will be instantly punished by a vindictive authority figure. The end result is these people, who dare not show their true feelings about anything and are running around desperate to show as much conformity as possible or else they won't be liked.


This is why education should NOT be performed, as it is in most cases, by young, single women fresh out of college. In many places the educators are either older and experienced males (how many of you had a kickass teacher who just happened to be a middle aged, male military vet?) or women who have successfully raised children of their own. Otherwise you get immature, vindictive, ignorant people who multiply those vices in the next generation...who in turn internalize those ideas and become SJWs.

I listened to a podcast the creator the Triumph did with Bill Simmons. I was pretty disappointed to hear that he was mostly for SJWs and said even though he's making jokes he agrees that we should be more inclusive, and that it's better to not try to insult others for the purposes of comedy.

Basically, he's not making some sort of statement against SJWs or for free speech, just doing the whole bit ironically without any deeper meaning.

The Trump video provides a good contrast with the Sanders video.

The Sanders voters, as has already been pointed out, look like they expect to be shot if they don't toe the party line by disapproving of what's being said. Meanwhile, the Trump supporters can laugh, even at themselves, because they fully recognize its its a freaking puppet and this is meant to be funny. Triumph tells the one Trump voter "we should build a wall between you and Denny's", and the guy laughs in appreciation of a good zinger. Every joke with the Sanders voters is met with a look of " oh no, you're not allowed to say that. It makes me uncomfortable."

I'm willing to bet this variation of sense of self comes from upbringing. The Sanders voters have lived in their special-snowflake-and-participation-trophy bubble, while this Iowans have actually been living.

Great insights by the posters above how all the SJW robots are all waiting to try and "gauge" what the "right" answer is to every question. There is no natural spontaneity.
