Most Out Of Place PC Shit EVER [Graphic Design Firm Website]

So I was checking out some graphic/web design firms' websites today, just to get some inspiration for a site I'm building.

I was reading through the site for MetaLab, a design firm that's worked with Coinbase and others, when I came across this 'testimonial':

“Many design firms give you work that is racist, homophobic, sexist, or worse. Not the case at MetaLab.”
Aziz Ansari, Actor and Comedian

You can see it IN-CONTEXT here:

http://metalab.co/

I honestly had to do a double take. A design firm, quoting a testimonial about racism, sexism and homophobia? Why? It's just so out of the blue... Like, I understand corporations going on about 'equal opportunity' because its good PR, but this is just like so... Out of place, or something? It's like say you were reading the marketing copy for a Word processor and it was like "our word processor is lightweight, easy to use, intuitive, NOT RACIST LIKE OUR COMPETITORS', and easy to use."

Just... weird. I'm almost wondering if it's some kind of joke?

Wow... that is fucking retarded. If it was me looking for a design company I would fully AVOID it after seeing that retarded testimonial.

Could be some faggots designing dicks in with the designs I want! haha.

He's a fairly well known comedian.

His show "Master of None" was decent

To be completely honest, it sounds like the company is trying to troll a bit, something out of a South Park epidsode. Especially given the fact that it's Aziz Ansari giving the testimonial.

The Maximally Pathetic Schema: Xs who labor to convince Ys that “I’m not one of those despicable Zs!,” when in fact it is obvious to the meanest intelligence that the Ys see no difference between Xs and Zs, don’t care anyway, and would love to throw both Xs and Zs into a gulag.

On the other hand, I can see someone in charge of a company project going to MetaLab just because of that testimonial. Even if it is a joke.

They can win either way. Someone less on the PC side might see the humor in a potential troll job and go with MetaLab. Someone who is pretty dense brainwashed leftoid will choose the company and think that the testimony is absolutely real, with the implication that other companies ARE racist, homophobic, sexist "or worse" and that MetaLab isn't.

Is this another instance of C+= ("a satirical programming language created by 4chan users in response to a proposal of a feminist programming language published on the humanities and technology site Hastac in December 2013")?

From what I’ve seen of the code, the code’s main purpose is removing the idea that “not true” = “false”. For example, while 4 + 5 = 9, it can also equal 11, 3, -27 or mashed potatoes if it feels like it.
This has the unfortunate side-effect of rendering if/else statements non-functional, but that’s okay, because they represent eeeeevil binary genders. Instead, every possible variable needs its own if statement. This effectively makes algebra and trigonometry impossible to code, making the coding language useless to mathematicians and anyone who’s taken a webpage course.
In other words, this is on par with the “magnets disprove gay marriage” experiment.

i.e. perhaps the Metalab site's a parody... but also this could just be Poe's Law in action, once again.

So you won't get anything edgy, memorable or buzzworthy from MetaLab, got it.

Aziz Ansari, meh - his standup is decent but he's from the same 'throw enough shit and maybe something sticks'-school of comedy as every comic actor today. He's like the guy who's a friend of a friend and brings good weed to the party and who everyone loves, but then he cockblocks you as soon as you leave for a piss.

Clearly a joke actually making fun of PC culture, not supporting it.

Not so sure myself. I am encountering visible examples of Poe's law more and more with each passing year.

EDIT: Never mind. It's a joke. Aziz Ansari apparently trolls SJWs for fun and laughs.
