What is it about the Rock that turns Newfies into welfare cases as soon as they touch it.
In Alberta they will grind out shifts at the mill flipping 2x4 for 12 hours a day and be happy as all be on Saturday buying new shit for their sleds.

Same thing with the guys I worked with in Northern Ontario. They were all working towards an end though, that they could earn enough money to buy a house outright and go back to Newfoundland, where they would go on pogey, hunt moose, fish etc. like back in the old days.
