Has anyone moved from Canada to the US?

Become a Nurse, it's easy to jump from Canada to the states with a BN. In fact its easy to jump anywhere as long as you speak the countries language.

It's what I'm doing.

How long does it take one to become a Nurse from scratch?

Just a quick note on considering where you are in your life before going down south: Depending on your level of net worth, career prospects, business lines if any etc, there are tangible benefits to not being American. FATCA and the DOJ being 2 of many. US enforcement goes a long way around the world, you do not want to be on the wrong side of Uncle Sam. You can get away with a lot of shit up north in Canada/rest of the world ex US that won't fly once you go down south. With that said, the US is still the land of opportunity, good luck.

When I was in Afghanistan a few years ago a lot of the interpreters I knew expressed a desire to come to Canada or the US. I knew a lot of them knew that NATO was going to lose in the long run and that the Taliban would target them for helping the infidel and they thought coming to Canada was the easiest escape.

I always tried to dissuade that sentiment. For some I could tell were greasy and fit the rapefugee persona to the T. But for the decent ones, and the greasy ones as well, I legitimately felt that a western country wouldn't be able to provide opportunity to them for a meaningfully better life. I told them to forget about the US or Canada and go for a fairly prosperous Muslim nation like Malaysia or Turkey instead.

Thinking about it later on I reckoned that that was decent advice even for men who already are Canadian citizens. If or when a man decides to leave his corrupt country, get the fuck out and set up shop somewhere where merely being a man isn't halfway to being a criminal.

Unless you're going to the States for business or love.

Tl;dr is the grass greener going from DEFCOCK 1 (Canada) to DEFCOCK 2 (America)?

No one correct answer applicable to everyone, but each man thinking of the move might as well ask himself that question.
