This is really not medically accurate. Ovulation windows are different across women, and often move around the cycle for a given woman.

Successful use of timing methods involves long-term charting of menstruation patterns plus measurement and logging of body temperature. (When done right, it's as effective as the pill.) Substituting a rule of thumb is not an effective birth control strategy.

This reply is for non-trolls reading this historically or whatever...I actually think the key to fighting STD trolling is giving a realistic take on things so people know what to do and thus don't need to panic about it.

The major STDs that doctors test and monitor for in standard practice are:
(bacterial)
-Gonorrhea (the "clap")
-Chlamydia
-Syphilis
(viral)
-Hepatitis B
-HIV

Add to that things YOU should be concerned about:
-Scabies (parasite, "crabs")
-Molluscum (viral)
