Guys,
I was marooned in a 10th tier American city of this week, called BOYNTON BEACH. It's located just south of Palm Beach, north of Boca Raton.
There is no reason for you to voluntarily visit this city. Its claim to fame is the film "Boynton Beach Club" about senior citizens finding love and sex.
However, i found there to be a great enclave for gaming that I'd like to share. Most people would travel a few miles north or south to find some South Florida "hotspots", though the following information may be handy.
This sheet will be focused around a single area of the "city". There's a disgusting shopping mall and some sports bars etc.. but I'm overlooking them in favor of an actual cool place to go and game.
There's an area on Boynton Beach Blvd east of I-95 where the road ends and the water begins. It's a system of deep canals, lakes etc.. that feed into the Atlantic ocean.
Where the road ends is a large cul-de-sac with a few huge bar/restaurants surrounded by high rise luxury apartments.
Two Georges Waterfront Restaraunt - a large bar/eatery complete with live cover/reggae band. I was there on a weekend night and it was JUMPIN. Boats full of drunk twentysomethings would pull up on the dock and start drinking and partying. This is NOT the type of place women when they "just want to dance!". They come here to drink and look for trouble.
Banana Boat - next door to Two Georges is Banana Boat, the same vibe as Two Georges but it's more "indoors" with a smaller section set outside on the water. It was very crowded here with a wide demographic of people. Again, the ladies weren't there to "dance", they were there to drink and party.
These establishments alone are no cause for a datasheet but here's where it gets interesting...
Directly west of these establishments are thousands of luxury condos, townhouses and the like. MANY of them are available as short term rentals because they're often used for second homes by the original occupants. Not only can you rent one of these short term...there are also a lot of females renting short term for vacations, parties etc..
They're nice, secure units that overlook the water with a great view. Many of the ground floor occupants had their patio doors open and were BBQing, partying etc... it's possible to entice ladies from the Two Georges and Banana Boat to come party at your place, while you're IN YOUR PLACE! You don't even have to walk into these establishments.
Now here's the "X-Factor" that caused me to write this report...
Directly north of the Two Georges theres a tree-lined secluded nature boardwalk that extends from the sidewalk all the way out to the water. While the restaurants are busy and loud, this place is quiet and dark enough so you can't see 100% clearly.
Meet some ladies at the restaurants, bring them to the boardwalk literally 50 yards away, to test their "buying temperature" before bouncing them back to your place to seal the deal. Or just seal the deal at the boardwalk if you can be quick about it. This aspect, at night, almost negates any sort of logistic problem.
If some readers are in the Boynton Beach area I'd love for you to do some recon and compare notes.
