Chinese Android Phones

Do any of you guys have experience with the Chinese Android Phones selling for about $100-150 all over the net? They usually support at least two sims, and sometimes come with tv support and some other funky stuff.

I've only seen the fake iphones that run on Java and are slow as fuuu, but I'm hoping some of these phones might run native android, thus run a little faster and be able to support android apps.

Any thoughts?

I bought a non branded mass manufactured chinese phone in Brazil, it was cheaper than even the shittiest, oldest second handed branded mobile phone and had all these seemingly great features that even the best of phones don't have. It was good for about 2 weeks when both the main battery and the spare just stopped working. Even at full charge it would last 2hrs before it died. I wouldn't buy one ever again.

works just fine. I cannot see the difference with an I-phone, honestly. Can't miss for less than 100$!

ZTE blade and ZTE skate are very cool, no different from a HTC in practice.

edit: skate, not slate.

ZTE and Huawei are good options.

When I hire a new gun, I just hit up Craigslist and buy a gently used Android phone, throw a T-Mobile prepaid SIM in it ($40 a month if you know where to look) and call it a day.

I regularly have negotiated phones that T-Mobile sells new for $500 down to $150 -- I do it around the 1st of the month, rent desperation mode for some sellers.
