So, you and your buddy find a girl to bring and you still can't get in? 1 girl + two guys = 33.3% female. 4 guys and two girls = the same.

Lol. d

Anyways. This really only works for the top clubs that attract ballers and celebs. Most college towns can't even afford to do this because the only properties close enough and large enough for a club are expensive when it comes to rent. Which is why you will often see the same clubs and bars turn over with new management and names every six months or so.

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

In Moscow, the opposite often applies. I've been called numerous times by girls to come join them so they can get into the club. Even if they're attractive, a group of 2-3 girls sometimes are not let into the club, simply because there's not enough men. Go figure.

I think Russia is a great place to live for a single guy, it's probably the liberal feminists and white nights that are behind the propaganda portraying Russia as a place of evil in the western media. When in actual fact it is one of the few places in the world where men have some level of respect in society and are not treated as second rate citizens.

Some of you all need to learn how to see game better.

Clubs have ALWAYS done this, and they enforce it selectively as needed to keep a good ratio of women in the club. It's how they make their money.

The catch is that by spinning it this way they get PC points for doing what they always have done.

So you think every average bum fuck bar and club can do this?

Two places in Sheffield started doing this shit in my first year and they closed shop soon after.

Only top places where it is a case of "need to be seen" can get away with it but even then they have plenty of women going. Notice how lounge bars favour women's tastes and not men?

- Bright or moody setting
- Colourful
- Plentiful seating and tables which are comfortable
- Good security
- Open plan bar with multiple mirrors behind and 100+ variations of drinks
- Open plan beer garden with heating lamps and large umbrellas

They design it for women and men come. I don;t see the average place doing this for one reason; these women don't get there.

A lot of them do but its for a good reason. Girls don't like attending sausage fests plus it gives the fraternity a poor reputation when they don't pull chicks.

It happens also in Rome. Honestly, I think groups of max 2-3 ppl could get in, but when it comes to more, they shouldn't.

Actually it's really simple.

Where do all women say they want to go? Greece? Italy? Turkey? Sweden? Norway? United States?

Good, now don't go to those places.

I never heard a girl say she wants to live in Russia, Philippines, Thailand, DR,.. I guess there's a reason for that.

It's the same with Erasmus studies - women mostly wanting to study in France, Italy, Spain or Greece, while men go to Eastern Europe or Scandinavia (though that is ever less popular).

If female EU college students had their pick around the world, then they would choose Australia, USA and Africa (as American coeds do). They would rather ignore China, Hong Kong, Japan or Singapore - the likely favorites of male students.

It's just that women are less honest about it.

When I was in Manila on NYE, apparently the newly opened superclub Valkyrie had the policy that as a guy you had to come with TWO girls to enter. That was on top of a near $100 entrance fee that night.

I doubt they enforced it strictly as long as you looked decent and had the cash, but still, this is in a pussy paradise.

Women women everywhere, so let's all go someplace else.

If the big city is the midwest, hot bars and clubs come and go every few years. This club is probably just past its peak trying to hold on to the business it has.

I've seen bars and clubs re-brand, implement dress code policies, etc, because they feel the tide moving out.

This is pretty much the policy in any good club I've been to in a major city - US/Europe/Aus/Dubai/S.Africa etc. Unless you're buying bottle service (and even then its not always a guaranteed option) a group of dudes by themselves isn't getting in. Its a good policy, it keeps places from turning into sausage fests.

If you want to get around it all you have to do is have enough game to chatup women in the line and say they're with you, or bring some female acquaintances of yours along to go in with. Not exactly rocket science.

I'd far rather go to a club with this door policy thats 50/50 women/men (or better usually, given groups of girls can get in) than a club with no door control thats 80% dudes. Even if most of the dudes are wallflowers with no game it still impacts the gaming vibe terribly.

I'm all for equal rights ...

BUT

I do not want to try to meet women at a "sausagefest."

So ... I'm all for "girls get in free," lower prices for women etc.

Nicer clubs in NYC have this policy and it helps keep the ratio reasonable. They never do it in DC and so the nightlife there sucks.

I've seen quite a few clubs enforce this, and I have gone clubbing A LOT over the past 7-8 years since I turned 18.

Generally, the more high-end or famous a club is ("the hottest nightclub in town"), the more likely they are to enforce this rule. By keeping the number of females in the club relatively high, the more they can charge for the cover charge and drinks and they can retain their reputation.

Rules like these are usually not officially stated, but punters quickly find out if bouncers at a club won't let guys in unless they bring girls.

Clubs which aren't particularly high-end/famous usually cannot afford to reject single men or groups of men because they need these guys to spend money there.

Whether or not you get allowed into particularly high-end or famous club also depends on how you look. Bouncers may still let a group of men into a venue if they are well dressed and well presented, and it looks like they won't be causing any trouble, despite not having any girls with them. If the group looks like a group of troublemakers, the chance of getting in is much lower.

^^^^^^ True.

A perfect policy would be to charge a higher cover charge for men, such as $30 to get in, while letting girls in free. Many clubs where I'm from do not enforce this, and they become sausagefests pretty quick. By charging higher and screening based on clothing, you will be able to let the gentlemen in, while bouncing troublemakers, thus keeping a good atmosphere in the club.

You can't get into most good clubs in NYC unless you have a proper male:female ratio or you spend thousands of dollars on a bottle. They probably used that explanation as a formality. It's better PR than saying "Bring in at least 1 female so the male:female ratio is good"

Let's have some fun at Besharam with the Bollywood style at Revival Night Club. We will meet at Tim Hortons prior to heading out as a group at 10.15 pm. It is important you arrive on time their admission policy is very strict.

Please bring Government Issued Identification.

Price:

Women - $ 10 before 11 pm, $ 15 after (Cash only)

Men - $ 20 Cash only

More information - please go to http://www.besharam.ca

Entrance Policy

Besharam events have a strict admission policy of 'No Entry for Men, Unless Accompanied by Women.' The reason for this policy is due to complaints we were receiving from women about sexual harassment, and from gay men about homophobic harassment. We intend to STRICTLY enforce the new entrance policy. Unaccompanied men will NOT be permitted entry, unless we know you personally. Just for clarification, we don't require everyone to arrive as couples, i.e. you don't have to bring one woman for every man, but your group must have at least 40% women in it.

I love the fact that they banned men without women under the guise of preventing "homophobia". How the hell do you get from A to B on that one?

Update on the nightlife situation in Moscow. My first comment was based on my overall stay here over the past two years. However, since the crisis, and especially in the past few months, females enjoying nightlife seems to have really fallen off. I've talked to several people who've noticed the same thing. Confirming my suspicions, I just saw that a very popular nightclub here and it's sister club - a popular afterhours spot, are offering a "Girls Only" membership card. This card allows them free entry to both of the clubs (usually around 1000-5000 rubles, depending on the night and the event (caveat - as the main nightclub, this entry fee gets you a card with the fee amount in free drink credit, but the drinks are pretty overpriced, so it's a catch-22)). The main perk: the girls only card also gets girls three free drinks as well - about a $30 value. It'll be interesting to see if this catches on and if it's effective or not. If they can publicize it well enough, I'm sure it will be. Girls can't always rely on guys to buy them drinks here as the demographics are still not in their favor, and economic hardship has meant that many just won't go out at all now. Of course, I'm hoping this works out for the clubs. More girls is always good.

Some days ago I was invited by this girl with her BFFs (all girls) to a big bar. It was ladies night Thursday, all girls get open bar (watered down drinks of course, so they don't even get tipsy for you to spit game at them). The ratio was insane, about 9 girls for every guy, most very hot and young (the bouncer had to check their IDs one by one). On paper it sounds like a dream, but by being there as a lone man, it is evident you are there to try and score.

I saw two or three chodey guys approaching girls tables, getting nowhere outside the friend zone. As I sat with the group, it came to me that maybe such am extreme ratio is also detrimental. Most girls are there with their BFFs to get drunk, not to meet a stranger for a one night stand.

Shit, daygame makes you see how screwed it is for men on most night venues.
