Men's society rejected at uni

I had a search before posting this but couldn't find it, I came across this again on Facebook and boiled my piss!

A male student at Durham university in England had his idea of starting a male society to help men address things such as depression after his friend committed suicide, had it rejected by the student union because it's controversial and that the aims were to similar to that of the fem soc even though a fem soc policy states:

"Feminism exists for women’ and ‘it would be extremely unreasonable to expect this space to support and cater for the needs of men"

It's absolutely ridiculous if you ask me! Until I discovered this forum this sort of stuff might of gone unnoticed from me such as feminist bullshit now I can't tolerate it at all.

Funny how millenials are incapable of organizing anything without permission from an authority figure.

Ironic given that boomers declared never to listen to anyone over 30 when they were students before kicking the ladder away from the wall before subsequent generations could climb over it.

The May '68 Paris boomer riots by upper middle class students crying "Revolution!" (before inheriting Papa's business) which brought in the Trotskyite 'New Left/ social liberal' era, started with protests demanding access to women students' dorms on campus.

Now we see that modern students cannot organise to attempt to reduce the record high suicide rates among men under 45 because it might hurt feminists' feelings.

This is at Durham University in the UK, a country that seems a lot more strangled by politically correct culture than the U.S.

But to any student at any university out there reading, if you come up against this sort of thing, the way out is to use their own methods against them.

What the students who started this group should have said is that they're not just barring a "men's group." Their barring a group that also helps gay men, black men, and men of other minority persuasions. Therefore, it's the university who is discriminating. In the U.S., I'm sure there would be no shortage of lawyers ready to hammer the university about this.

As Milo, Obsidian and others have shown, the manosphere is not composed solely of a bunch of white men. The same is most likely true of their men's group -- there has to be a minority in their somewhere. As such, the university needs to be sued and hung out to dry in the court of public opinion.
