Santo Domingo DataSheet

Hi Guys, I'm new to the Forum and I just wanted to share some Tips and Advice about Santo Domingo, DR. A lot of stuff has already been covered by other Members but I thought maybe there was some other info I could add that has helped me. I wish I had known about this Forum the 1st Time I went to DR, It would've saved me a lot of Headaches and mistakes.

So just so you have a little info about me, I am from El Salvador but I have lived in the USA since I was about 9 Years old. I saw a Post or 2 about going to El Salvador and I have to say to those guys "You sure are Brave". I was Born there and I don't want to even visit anymore because its way too Dangerous plus the Girls in DR are way better!!

Tip #1 (Pipeline)
A lot of the Guys mentioned a Pipeline when going to DR, I also highly recommend doing this 1st. For me the best Site by far is DominicanCupid.com, All that other crap to me was worthless such as Badoo. They charge about $30 a month for Full Access and all you need is 1 Month thats it. Trust me on this, its worth every penny!! This Site is Great, I've had so many Great Results that I'd could probably write a Mini_Book about. Also you'll need Whatsapp to communicate with these Chicks because the Site is too meet and Whatsapp is for the Real Deal. Just beware of the ones that look "Too good to be true" meaning the Women who are way too Beautiful, 9 times out 10 they are scamming. Either they want you to send Money, Thats not them in the Photos or they are Men using their Photos to Scam.

Tip #2 (Hotels)
Good info on the Forum already but keep in mind almost all Hotels will give you problems when you try to bring up a Girl. If they allow it they'll charge you for her anywhere from $25-$50 depending the Hotel and they will hold her ID until she leaves the next day (Yes that means if she didn't bring her ID she's not coming up). I've stayed at Hodelpa and its small and Yes they charge for guests plus you will be harassed Non-Stop by Street Vendors so I don't recommend this one. Hotel Mercure almost the same as Hodelpa with way less Street Vendor Harassment. Jaragua is way too expensive I think and are very problematic with bringing girls to your room, even having people posted along the way to the rooms incase you skipped the Front Desk Entrance. I say book something on Airbnb, same price and probably cheaper, most but not all don't charge for guests, kitchens and overall I think now a much better overall deal.

Tip #3 (Transportation)
The Cab Drivers will rip you off if you let them. Be nice but firm and negotiate the Price upfront, they charge 2 different Fares. One Fare is what I call the "Dominican Fare" and the other the "Tourist Fare". If one refuses just go the next and so on. Also use common sense about what Cab you get into, La Zona Colonial is pretty safe but still always be on guard.

Tip #4 (Safety)
I've never had any problems in DR and I think La Zona Colonial is the safest place but that doesn't mean its 100% so let your guard down. Don't call attention to yourself, don't go to places where you know you don't belong, don't flash jewelry and don't pick fights. I never take my Passport out and I only take in Cash what I need only ( Here's a tip i use for a Wallet when i go to Latin America - take an old "Fake" Wallet lets call it and put only a $20 Bill in it with no ID's or Credit Cards). So if you do get robbed they'll take the worthless wallet with only $20 and run. Why carry any cash at all you ask? Well they're not stupid and you don't want to piss them off so they'll believe the $20 only trick and then just run. Its much worse to have nothing and they get pissed and try to hurt you out of anger. Also be careful with the Iphones, Galaxies and all that shit!! In our countries like DR and mine too (El Salvador) that shit probably has the most value and the one thing you'll get stolen if you flash it too much. You shouldn't have any problems in La Zona Colonial and thats where I always stay but do venture out of the Area too but just stay safe. Another thing I want to mention about La Zona Colonial that really pisses me off is "Customer Service"!! When you go to Restaurants in this Area the Service is the worst I have ever seen anywhere!! Guess why?? The Goddamn Tip is already included on your Bill so they don't give a shit if you like it or not!! 15 Minutes to get seated, 15 minutes for the Server to come and take Drink Order, 15 minutes before i get that drink, 15 minutes to take food order and then about 20-30 minutes to get the food finally!! Oh and God forbid you want another Beer or Refill cause they'll take their time on that one. I tried to explain to them that we don't even realize the Tips included so if they just acted normal they would get an additional tip from us Americans who are accustomed to leaving 15% on top of the Included tip!! But they don't think seem to get it so just be prepared for that so it doesnt catch you by surprise.

Tip #5 (Miscellaneous)
Speaking enough Spanish to get you by is all you really need, sometimes knowing too much is actually a minus instead of a plus!! Here's what I mean - I am completely Fluent in Spanish and English but I always speak 100% Spanish over there because it just comes natural to me. The Girls over there will respond better to the guy who speaks broken Spanish as opposed to the Fluent one. The reason is because they're already living everyday with Spanish Speaking Men, they want something different. For me in particular when I remember this Rule I find the results really entertaining and interesting. I'm light skinned and I don't look Dominican but I also don't look like the Typical Hispanic that would come to your mind so with me I try to use the "Extranjero" advantage all i can (Translation-Foreigner). Also I saw on another Post a discussion about African American men and how they are looked at in DR. I don't agree with what I read. All Dominican women care about is that you're NOT DOMINICAN, thats all!!! I know plenty of African American Men who think DR is the best place in the world and whom have even bought houses there. Now yes its true in our countries like Central America and South there is alot of Racism towards the Black Hispanics but in DR as long as your not Haitian you'll be fine. On that same post I believe I saw someone write that being "White" wasn't that big of a deal. Well I'm not sure why any Guy who is White with Blue Eyes or Blonde Hair or whatever wouldn't use that to his advantage. YOU my friends are the most coveted ones in DR!! hahahahahahahahaha...Yes they see Foreigners all the time but still you're in a country where the Women see YOU as the EXOTIC one!! Listen they fantasize about marrying the American and leaving poor old DR!! Use that to your advantage and get from them what you came for. Remember that movie in the 90's "Total Recall" with Arnold Schwarzenager? Its sort of like that, tell them you're in town for work and you're a boat captain, politician, Baseball Player (They'll really love that one) or whatever the Hell you want!! It doesn't matter because no one knows you over there anyway plus for me it gives me the excuse to say "I work tomorrow so I'll send you home in a cab and meet up later". Which ofcourse is Bullshit because I see a different Chick everyday, I don't want to see the same one twice because its DR!! It doesn't matter how old you are, how unattractive you think you are, your weight and etc. So go enjoy yourself and see a different girl everyday (Dominican Cupid Baby)!! Buy a cheap cellphone from over there too, i bought one for $40 and was able to communicate with the girls much easier. Our phones will be Roaming over there so watch it cause if not your bill will be super high when you get back home. Add like $10 or $15 of minutes at a time and you can Call and Text without the Stress of a Super High Bill. Never use Credit or Debit Cards over there either, use straight Cash for everything and use Dominican Pesos as much as possible. 2 of my good friends have both come home to find Fraudulent Charges from the DR because they paid at a Restaurant with a Credit Card plus try figuring out the Tip in Pesos!! Also NEVER use the Airport Currency Exchange offices, they pay way below the current rate. Go to a local place where your staying or ask the Hotel, also the Hotel will pay you lower too. I found one time 45 Pesos with a guy named Luis who Exchanges in the Zona Colonial on El Conde in front of Mercurio hotel. He has a Van and he Pays the highest I have found without going too far. I Luis pays 45 then the Airport probably pays 40, Hotel 43, Bank 44-45 and some local places either 45 or sometimes even higher.Watch out for Scams however and always count carefully. Also remember you can negotiate certain things over there like Taxis, Street Vendors, Exchange Rates and stuff like that. Not food or drinks!!

Conclusion
I think DR is one of the Best Places to go period!! The Women are very beautiful and come in all types, shapes, colors and personalities. They are very Sensual and are determined to please you. Dominican Men treat them like shit because they can, so when we get there we are like a dream come true. Treat them with respect, kindness and attention and you'll me amazed with the results especially if your only used to American Women!! Here's a perfect example of the difference between an American Woman and Dominican Woman - Tell your American Girlfriend, Wife or whatever something like "Baby why don't you do those kind of things to me like the girls in Pornos?" Now What's the Response you'll hear 9 times out of 10?? "Well go find somebody that'll do it for you!!" (Am I right or what?) hahahahahaha Now tell your Dominican Woman that same thing and She will take it as a Personal Challenge until she achieves that Goal 100% and guess what she'll respond to that in a whole lot different, sexier and nicer way then the way the American girl would. Man, I could write all Day about this place but I know my post is now long enough as it is. Thanks for letting me share my opinions, experiences and Tips on your Site guys!! This is truly an awesome Forum and I've been to DR many times but still learned so much from the Veterans Posts on this Forum. I'll be in Santo Domingo from 10/25- 10/27 and in Santiago from 10/28-10/31 in case anybody from the Forum wants to meet up. Never been to Santiago yet and I'm super excited about it!! Pipelined like crazy for Santiago and will Day Game the Universities thanks to the Tips from the Forum. Everybody be Safe and if you have any questions for me please feel free to PM me and I'll gladly help out. Also if any Newbies like myself or Forum Veterans want to meet up in DR on these dates please let me know!! That would be really cool.

First, great handle. For some reason, we have few, if any, Salvadoran guys on here and we needed one. Second, this data sheet is as accurate as anything on the forum. I can't even add anything to it. It's almost like I wrote it myself.

I've seen this happen not just in the Dominican Republic, but in other Latin American countries. Some girls lose interest once I start talking.

Has anyone ever stayed in Costa Brava? My buddies and I found an AirBnb there for 54 dollars a night. It's supposed to be a residential neighborhood but very close to nightlife/downtown Santo Domingo.

Where would you guys recommend a group of 4 dudes to stay in Santo Domingo?

I've never stayed in Costa Brava but I would stay in the La Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo just for the fact that its Safe and Close to everything. $54 a night isnt bad though especially if its 4 of you and if you bring Guests over this would definitely be your best bet I think. But do some research on the Area first, I believe Costa Brava is in Santo Domingo Este which isn't exactly the safest place.
