Some of them are stewards of the most important spiritual site on Earth.
They're heirs to ancient traditions, tasked with bringing their people out of darkness to reclaim leadership in the world. A daunting burden. Fortunately they were given immense wealth, great authority, and strong clans at their backs.
AND THEY USE IT TO SHIT ON WHORES!
What more do you need to know?
They use it to shit on whores.

@Cr33pin and Max James.
That is a possibility but suppose you are intelligent and curious. What would you learn or do?
An interesting documentary about this is 'Born Rich' made by Jamie Johnson.

I don't know that I'd live any differently than I do now. I know that sounds cliche and insincere, but aside from paying off a few bills and helping my family, I'm pretty much doing everything I want to do now.
I already taunt minimum wage workers, snapping my fingers at them, talking down to them. I guess with more money, I'd go to strip clubs and torture the dancers there. No more respectful conversation, no more doing some fancy bathing thing before getting up close and personal; my balls would smell like burnt limburger cheese and I'd say, "hey, if you do that thing where you vibrate your lips against my nut sack again, there's an extra $20 in it for ya." Then, I'd see how long she could hold her breath. It's really fun around the holidays because strippers are desperate for cash to support their kids and guitarist/boyfrien--uh, to pay for their college education. Yeah, that's it. Every time you wave a $20 in their faces, you see "that would buy Skylar another set of strings and a Happy Meal for little Billy" as they're calculating how much they'd keep after paying the house.

That's a weird question. Is becoming an ultra-billionaire that big of a priority for anybody sane?
I'd probably take a few million off the top and travel for a long while, and reinvest the rest where I can't touch it and live off the interest in perpetuity.
If I then feel like fucking off some more I'd probably be a permanent student or something.

First of all you picked one of the richest people in the world for your thread.
The Rothschilds are so rich, that most of their wealth has left the Fortune lists. Many people in NYC in asset management know that the family has more than 1000 billions - they are essentially trillionaires. They have been billionaires in the 1850s.
What it feels like when growing up like that depends on the family. Some let you go through your own hell, neglect or worse by own family, sadistic British elite schools etc. It's certainly different growing up like that than earning it yourself. Those two things cannot be compared. When you are born into it, then it's usually tied up to a greater degree and you keep on managing it or are not even given access to it to a full degree.
When you create the wealth yourself, then it's something else, but you appreciate it more.

When you're poor, the demons that attack you attack your body (cold, hunger, and sickness).
When you're rich, the demons that attack you attack your mind (depression, self-loathing, liberalism, SJW).
With that said, i'd probably do more charity work and become a benefactor to a small church community.

I wouldn't doubt it. The US is worth something like 230 trillion in total assets so while the Rothschild net worth sounds obscene it would probably be like them owning New Jersey or something. Even then it's probably too much for them to fully liquidate without fucking up the market somehow.

Easy. Build a self sufficient compound near a 2nd or 3rd tier college town....you know those minor campuses in towns of say 10 to 20 thousand
1. Use my money to become a large local university donor to by continued access to campus, perhaps establishing an interview based scholarship for each sorority.
2. Use my money to corrupt municipal officials and police, making me immune to prosecution like a modern day Boss Hogg
3. Employ illegals to work on my mini farm that supplys my food in my compound
4. Spend the summer and late fall camping, hunting and fishing on the lands of my private compound

This actually brings me to an interesting question.
If you had enough means to actually make a legitimate difference in the world, but lacked the network necessary to do so - would you make compromises to your moral fibre (e.g. burning money in front of a homeless person) in order to obtain valuable resources that would be able to help those people?
Sorta of like the old question would you kill a person to save 10 kind of thing.
I personally can't say what I would do if I was in the 1% of wealth. I've never been wealthy and never been close to anyone who was so I have zero experience first or secondhand with it. I know a lot of them go into anthropology - and a lot become hyper-hedonists. Like anything else it likely has a lot to do with your environment, how you were brought up, and who you surround yourself with that influences your lifestyle and pursuits.
Ditto, I ponder the same question often, I have been presented with Opportunities to sell my soul for money, so far I have held my frame but the bigger question is if the ante is upped would I still be able to hold my ground.

If I was born into that kind of money, knowing the kind of person I was when I was young, I probably would have died of a drug overdose in my late teens or early 20s. I would be surrounded by luxury and women, but just as dead regardless.
