Black America's plea to Hispanic America: Stop voting Democrat!

I appreciate the sentiment but the Hispanic vote is irrelevant to a Republican. It's the white vote that matters. The way to win is to fire up white voters even if it alienates every Hispanic in the world.
From the Trump thread:

What if Romney had been able to do something absolutely astonishing for a Republican and win 60 percent of the Hispanic vote? He would have lost by the same margin, 283 electoral votes to 255.
...
Romney would have had to win 73 percent of the Hispanic vote to prevail in 2012.
Recent reports suggest as many as 5 million white voters simply stayed home on Election Day. If they had voted at the same rate they did in 2004, even with the demographic changes since then, Romney would have won.
...
Likewise, the white vote is so large that an improvement of 4 points -- going from 60 percent to 64 percent of those whites who did vote -- would have won the race for Romney.
So which would have been a more realistic goal for Romney -- matching the white turnout from just a few years earlier, or winning 73 percent of Hispanic voters?

Getting out the white base is the way to win the election - all talk from the republican establishment about courting the Hispanic vote (usually at the expense of the white vote) is either foolishness or outright sabotage.
Glad its been mentioned. Sometimes you don't know what to believe since there are so many outlets saying very different things.
One thing that concerns me though, as it pertains to the white vote is why did whites in 2012 stay home? I thought people just wanted to get rid of Obama. Remember the "anyone but Obama" bumper stickers? When was the last time a candidate has won with just white people? I can't really think of a time.
That's my only concern.

Hispanics disliking the anti-illegal immigration candidate and prefering Jajajéb Bush for his lax and welcoming immigration stance?
From what I have observed the majority of hispanics (that have legal status in this country) do not like mass illegal immigration.
Well some of them understand that they have it good now, but it'll be worse if more and more immigrants flood in. Most of them want to la reconquista it up though and flood the US with latinos. Exhibit A: go to any store in Miami and talk in English and see how many confused, bewildered and even "what is this fool trying to do?!" looks you'll get.

It's unfortunate that a lot of Hispanics get their news from univision and telemundo. Jorge Ramos holds a lot of sway with Mexicans, and that's a shame. If he cares about Mexico he should go back and use his power and influence to help fix that country, not just be an amnesty advocate. There needs to be some prominent conservative spanish speaking media out there.
Yeah I can't stand Jorge Ramos. He's getting filthy rich by kissing and sucking up to illegal aliens. He's a bully. He's worse than Al Sharpton to me. Ramos is taking advantage of this country, he's a balkanizer, a racialist, and he has gotten wealthy doing it. What's worse is that he's brainwashing Hispanic Americans with his leftist agenda.
Its sick. Fuck that guy.

It's a fools errand believing that either side will make a difference. I understand the sentiment - we want to believe a potential candidate will finally make the obvious and clear difference we need to fix the country. We want to believe it so bad it hurts. But that won't happen. It doesn't matter if your candidate is a 15 year old kid with a hilarious name from Iowa, an ex-CEO, a lifelong politican, a doctor, whatever - once in office, and even before, he is owned by money and forces you can not see.
Take for example Google and Apple. They're in the same sectors, and they are in stark competition with each other in the software game, the handheld device game, the laptop/desktop game, and even in the robotics game now. But they are allies in D.C. They in fact are part of the same "megalobby" fighting for more conveniences that jeopardize America's future.
The simple solution is remove corporate money out of politics. But that won't happen.

There are several reasons, one is just that Romney courted the minority vote at the expense of the white vote.
Let's be honest, courting the minority vote means two things - amnesty for illegals and freebies. And those two things do not sit well with the people who are going to have to pay for it.
Romney got embarrassed by calling (truthfully) "47 percent of voters dependent" so he spent the rest of the race courting back those people at the expense of his base. He got labeled a "RINO" and people just said "Fuck it" and stayed home.
Anddd you were right!
This guy talks about it.
It seems that its a better strategy to try to appeal to 70% of the electorate than to 10% which are Latinos simply because they have a better shot at swaying a bigger chunk of the white vote.
One thing he does mention is that the Latino vote will be of more importance in the long term but not really 4 years from now. Just in time for Trump to get elected and do work.
I still want Hispanics to stop voting Democrat though, for the sake of their communities. The left is just an evil entity altogether regardless of race.
