I brought a girl home after a date. After a bit of talking and kissing she is ready to get fucked into oblivion. I hadn't eaten in 4 hours and had a very large cup of coffee during the date (black no sugar). I couldn't get it up until she bit/sucked on my fingers and neck, even then it was pathetic compared to its normal glory.

After she leaves I realize that every time I've had a decent sized cup of coffee on pretty much an empty stomach I have a tough time getting and maintaining a good erection. I google it and I find out it is a vasoconstrictor so it will reduce blood flow to your penis, however most people discussing it said they had no problems even on a caffeine supplement.

Has anyone had similar problems with caffiene or other substances (obviously alcohol) that make it hard to get hard? Or am I just super sensitive to it.

Hard to say, my friend. I am a coffe junkie (6-8 cups a day) and have never had such a problem. However, I jog every day (3-5 km a day) in the treadmill. I guess one counterbalance the other.

With God's help, I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

I used to drink about 12 to 15 cups a day and it was strong european coffee made of italian espresso beans. No dissing here but i tasted the coffee in New York and it was like water. No wonder people have to drink cup size coffees.

Anyway, back than i didnt have boner problems with all that coffee. I was in pretty good physical condition.

Its probably the fact that you didnt eat for 4 hours, had only a large coffee ( might as well be any other drink) and maybe a bit of nerves.

Nothing to worry about, just be sure to always have a full stomach.

Eat more protein with every meal. Steak, eggs, protein shakes whatever. I read in another thread that your body absorbs 100% of egg proteins compared to 40% of any other kind.

I drink a lot of coffee all day myself. The only time I couldn't perform is when the girl just isn't turning me on. I believe women have maintenance sex with guys the same way guys jerk-off. Just something you have to do once in a while. If I feel that a girl is not into it and just going through the motions I get turned off. Even if she's hot.

Also women in their 30's and up don't get as wet as younger girls in my experience. Nothing like a dry cooch to deflate your boner.

Yep. People are always looking for the easy answer. "Is it coffee?"

No, it's your lifestyle. It's the abuse people put their body through. It's the lack of physical exercise and poor nutrition and crappy sleep that occurs 24 hours each day.

I've NEVER had trouble getting it up.

Lift some heavy weights, eat meat and cheese, and drink black coffee. You'll have hard-ons when the wind blows.

Red wine is the only thing I can think of that softened me up at the moment of truth. I think it was the lack of overall nourishment that day, in addition to the large amount of coffee that messed you up. You should also make sure you drink a decent amount of water every day. Don't go overboard, but start the day with a big glass, and drink throughout the day. I was never a breakfast eater throughout life, but I learned to get something in me early. I have a small appetite, but I makes sure my large meal of the day is lunch, and I try to nibble throughout the day.

I had a huge meal. 4 strips bacon, 4 eggs, 2 pieces of toast and some fruit just before i left. i think it was a combination, the reason i brought it up is that its happened once before, i ate a meal and within the hour after i drank some and an hour later i was with a girl.

needless to say no coffee and fully functional today. got the notch. thanks for the input the food aspect did make me think. also i don't do much cardio (maybe an hr a week) but lift heavy 3 days a week. i do know a lack of exercise affects boner quality too.

If you're lifting cardio shouldn't be necessary for boner health, but if boner loss has happened to you before mind if I ask for some pictures of the girls? Maybe they just aren't hot enough!

Hard to say. For me, coffee is a morning thing, and sex an evening thing. And ne'er the twain shall meet.

If you want to drink it in the evening, you could always try a half and half cacao-coffee brew.
Should even out the vasodilation-vasoconstriction, if my broscientific intuition is broscientifically correct.
Adding a little cinnamon or ginger powder would also help.

Caffeine is a blood vessel restrictor. Too much of it can cause headaches (blood restriction to the brain) or make a headache worse.

Think of all of the blood capillaries that need to function to inflate your cock, then toss a chemical that does the opposite into them.

At a minimum, go European and chase a cup of coffee (or tea) with a cup or glass of water to dilute the effects of the caffeine.
