We had a "tailgate-themed" party a few weeks ago for the place I work for. There was some kind of game being played between teams of two. I hadn't registered for it so I went up to a girl who was in charge, pretty cute with freckles, if I could play. She got startled as I said hi.

Then a few days later she passed by my office on her way to see my boss and looked at me on the way. I was feeling very confident that day and was looking my best. She stopped by on her way back. Said she was sorry that the game was not planned well, etc. I asked her about her job, turned out she worked for HR. She looked very "receptive" but even with all of these I knew the lesson. I just asked her name

Sexual harassment is the cause du jour of HR departments in corporate hell. Trust me when I tell you I've seen it all. They're basically a hypergamy defense mechanism in action with a heaping dose of left wing, anti patriarchal hate. Proceed with EXTREME caution when running game on a co worker "career grrrl". I've seen guys get fired with no recourse for "allegedly" saying "fuck" around a woman. You have zero chance if they decide to detonate your ass.

Actors fuck other actors all the time. This is largely because an actor will never work again if he or she sues anybody. Actors know that if they cry "sexual harassment," their career will be over.

Worked at a summer camp three summers ago. Co-counselor I started banging turned out to be a boss' sister. A summer of hellish awkwardess and second-guessing ensued.

I now work on a office floor of about 30 people. A girl has given me her number and asked me out twice in an unsolicited manner. Another girl is a hot blonde who I bonded with over a shared aim to travel South America.

I encourage the mantra in myself every day of not shitting where you eat. Summer camp years ago taught me a valuable lesson in this regard.

Now I just take a back seat and watch the awkward displays of sexuality in work. These people don't seem to understand the concept of meeting people outside of one's immediate surroundings.
