I see on the forum a lot comments, backed by photographic evidence in places like the Online Hamster girl thread, concerning the low quality 'betas' or immature/loser dudes, wimpy looking simps with fat main squeezes. Basically the guys that girls in high school called 'losers'.

I can verify this to a good extent, as I am not very impressesed by the typical dude in my own locality, Roosh's own home town.

At the same time, it seems the dating scene is stacked against us.

Why then does the number of losers not help us more? It seems that I (we?) should not have to work so hard when the competition is weak.

I told a blue-piller I know that the number of fats out there made dating difficult for men, since we have to fight over the fits, but he only said that the number of goofy dudes should balance it out.

That may be true but I think identifying the right niche can be just as effective. For me at 44 I don't spend my time concentrating on the 18-24 y.o. "pro hoes" looking to bang pro surfers, snowboarders, athletes musicians and all manner of bad boy cool dudes.

The moment I stepped out of the country, my quality and quantity started jumping like Jordan. Spinning plates. All that. It takes a lot for me to pull at home for logistical reasons, but when I do, the quality is subpar for the effort I put in. I've keyed in to several niches I want to exploit abroad and those seem like great opportunities; however, similar niches in my area are more difficult to play with. Keep in mind I'm still an unestablished guy, but that should give you some insight on the dating situation in the US.

It's definitely doable, but for the quality I want, I'd be better off applying some geoarbitrage in places like EE and scandi and put in the effort there. But yeah like most people implied
in the thread, these 'losers' won't get the 'fat chicks' to fuck around with, at least short term. It seems like more of a provider dynamic where she 'finds her level' after fucking around in her 20s. Dating market is skewed here.

In DC, I see a lot of guys that are with sub par women. I find it funny because this area has some beautiful women but nobody has the nuts to approach or even talk to them. Granted, many of these women are stuck up and have a very high opinion of themselves. If you are an approach machine, you will find a girl that is one in a few that will actually be receptive of your attempt. Sometimes it's a validation attitude, other times, they are genuinely interested in what you have to say. You just need to see what is out there and challenge yourself.

Many men in this area settle for much less than they are worth because those types of women are an easier target. Don't settle for less and approach the hot girl that is waiting to get a drink. What do you have to lose?

I wish it was enough to just approach as you say. The flake rate for DC girls is unreal, higher than in cities like Baltimore or Philly where i've gamed before. Almost every time I get a number from a cute girl in DC I always think "is it too good to be true... Will she finally be the one who is actually able to go out on a drink date the next day?" instead of pulling out her Outlook Calendar and giving me some hour 1 week from today when she is "not busy". Also, these "hot girls" you are talking about are very few in number compared to other large US cities.

What do the guys who are with the subpar women look like? I mostly see the bad ones with the bad ones around here and the very few quality girls seem very receptive. Earlier today, I saw some guy who was about 115 pounds, dressed like a five year old, with a girl who was completely out of place for this area in a good way. Either he was her gay friend, her brother, or hell froze over. I'm actually convinced that if I had unlimited time and resources that I could crack this place and do almost as well as I could in a top-tier city. The thing is, if I had that kind of time and resources, why would I be here in the first place?

Edit: Remington, I agree with you that most guys are scared to approach the few quality girls here, but this area is conservative as hell as far as relationships go. If you bang one of the few quality girls, you can bet that she's either cheating or just broke up with some guy, and probably has serious plans to get back together with him.
