I agree with Beyond Borders. I've turned down a first night bang because I got super weird vibes from a woman and didn't think it would end well. I highly doubt 75% of men would always turn it down though.

I wouldn't always turn it down, I wouldn't always jump at the chance though - me I'd be willing to go for it if it was clear the woman was down for it. (And I'm definitely not afraid to since I've gone for scores on the first date or even the first encounter).

Plus some women do still have a little self-respect and rushing in too quick will give them a 'player' vibe, while if you wait till the 2nd/3rd date you might be able to score.

Some of the guys here might not do the 'dating' thing at all but to each his own.

I think most Brits would turn down first date sex with a woman because they've already got another date lined up with some bloke.
