Cagliari, Sardinia Quasi Data Sheet

Cagliari, Sardinia Quasi Data Sheet

I hit up a Cagliari a few weeks back on business. It was a short trip and I got food poisoning for a good part of it and so barely got to game, but there's seemingly no information on Sardinia on the forum so I thought I'd throw down a few observations...

First, gaming in Sardinia is likely similar to Sicily. There's a nice sicilian data sheet here: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-28651....t=Sardinia

The girls: My impression was that, especially conditioned on Cagliari being a provincial city, the girls were smoking hot, very friendly, but often didn't speak English. They are a bit curvier on average than Russian girls, but less so than in Tunisia (where i've been recently), and much less than the US. A factor why there are so many lookers there may be that Sardinian people don't leave the island, whereas, say, hot girls from Cincinnati or Kalamazoo michigan would gravitate toward California and New York in much higher proportion, leaving behind uglo-America. I was also surprised that while the typical Sardinian girl is short, dark hair and eyes, and very Italian looking, there were some exceptions. I picked up a tall athletic blonde girl on the beach (Poetto) I initially thought was Scandinavian -- the Vandals and Ostrogoths did conquer and rape their way through Sardinia after all... I definitely saw more than a few Sardinian girls I'd have loved to f*ck with, and would return for the girls. This is despite the fact that the English level and conservative nature of Italian women for sure make this a challenging flagging destination, but much less so than Tunisia. You'll have to work for your dinner here, but if you're lucky I think you can feast, especially if you have local contacts. Another note is that I got almost nothing at all off of Tinder/OKC. Perhaps Cagliari is too small for online dating to work.

The city of Cagliari: Given that it's an Italian city, I'd say not that nice. You can walk around the nice parts, which aren't that nice by Italian city standards, in a few hours. Skip the Castello, although near there is a nice bar with a good view, and good place to grab cocktails, though likely better to bring a date. The beaches and scuba diving are the reason to go to Sardinia. At night though, like in many Italian towns, there are loads of people drinking in the Plazas -- what you'd generally think of as ideal pickup atmospheres. There's a main hostel in the middle of the city, which I didn't stay in (my hotel was being paid for), but this was another mistake I made, as other tourists would have made primary targets.

The people: nice, very provincial. Despite being an island, the people are apparently a mountain people, who long ago grew weary of invaders who came from the sea and turned inward. You'll meet people who have never left the island and have no intent to do so -- thus no reason to learn English.

Venue tip: In the summers, on Sundays, there are these huge sunset parties thrown at this one beach bar, La Paillote, that's a bit remote. Highly, highly recommended, though try to get there fairly early, like around 5'ish, as there gets to be a queue. The average age looks like about 18, and many girls there get roaring drunk. They serve drinks in buckets with 6-7 straws to share. I picked up here too, but I had digestive issues, and it didn't look like I was going to flag, so I bailed somewhat earlier, but on another day it might have happened. The issue with this place was that it is so packed, if you get in with someone, you have to stick with them as you'll never be able to find them again. For me, I stuck out so much that it was clearly a game of duck-duck-goose, eventually I knew I'd find a girl with non-mainstream-for-Italy tastes... I saw some amazing asses here I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Another venue tip: Skip indoor concerts, if possible. They play music waaaay too loud there. Clearly, here as in most places you need to know which nights to go to which venue -- La Paillote was empty on Friday evening, yet packed full on Sunday.

My experience: I had a choice between flagging a 45 year old, or dignity, and chose the latter. In three beers time I might have opted for the flag, but just couldn't do it being merely drunk. I then made a rookie mistake, as the 45 year old was the go-between for my plans to go to the beach with two nubile, Sicilian 20-somethings on vacation I met through a friend, and who seemed quite interested. The 45 cock-blocked me hard core, telling me that their car was full and that they were headed to a beach location for the day that was in the opposite direction from where I'd be diving the following day (totally irrelevant), and refused to give me our mutual friends phone number. Somehow, I was completely blindsided by a woman's jealousy, and not for the first time. Then, I got sick from eating muscles, so instead of spending a day with these hot girls on the beach, I spent essentially an entire day in the hospital waiting for a doctor to prescribe me antibiotics. Talk about a reversal of fortunes. Another mistake I made was that, when I was out with the 45 year old, I got eye-fucked by an all-Sardinian beauty that looked like Burlusconi's wet dream, and instead of blatantly going to pick her up while ditching the cougar, I cock-blocked myself and respected her by not leaving her to trade up. I'll be kicking myself for a long time for that one. What gets me about game is that, even as I get older, the learning experiences never cease...
