GameData: an online game (sharing) journal with statistics

Evening guys,

First of all, I hope I'm not breaking any rules. I don't think this thread classifies as self-promotion*.

So, what's this about?
I'm wondering if you guys would be interested in a website where you can keep track of your bang history. The date you got her, where she's from, a small note, and so on. You'd, of course, be able to export your data and remove your account at any time.

And if you're a data lover, the fun extra is that it'll display some plots and statistics based on your bang history.
It would potentially also include a feed of recent bangs of other users.

Of course, suggestions are more than welcome.

That's it. Let me know if this is something you might use. I've been inspired by people saying they've got a journal, and people lacking motivation.

Here is a quick mock-up, but know it's not flashy *yet*.

Wish you all a wonderful day,
-S

Good idea.

If you are looking for suggestions I would like a 'meet to bang' tracker. How long and what kind of meet ups you had till you got the bang. Interesting to see how the data would look like on that after a year.

Also a 'bang to pass' meter. How long things lasted and how many more bangs (and when) after the first time. Track where your rotation girls are at and why things moved on.

I like the overall concept but I think security would have to be tight and all the information anonymous. I don't think many people will want that attached to their email address and/or personal details.

Cool idea. Looking forward to this. PM me if you need any advice on development, deployment, security, etc.

This is a valuable tool, both for newbies and veterans, the former more so. I'll be looking forward to this as well.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I pretty much do this manually now, and it's a pain in the ass.

I think we'd all learn a lot about ourselves, and about game culture in general by aggregating this data. Imagine if you had 1 million bangs logged by guys all over the world, with all the details you had laid out in the mock up? That would be fascinating data.

i.e. you could publish reports like: "250,000 American girls have had a one night stand in the past 3 months" or something like that.

That's the kind of shit that rocks the boat, and would drive enormous traffic and commentary.

Could be really cool. Do it!

Interesting idea, want it to succeed, but: how to get guys to contribute, without lying? In a forum like Roosh's, you can test out the Game theory or location data sheet, and give rep points in return, but how would one easily do that with notches?

'Sup guys,

I had some time yesterday and today, and I finished a functional alpha version. You can view it in this imgur album.

What are some fun (or necessary) stuff I should add according to you?

Security-wise, I don't think it'll be that big of an issue. I'll make it so you only have to register with a username and password; e-mail address optional. The database doesn't keep track of any other personal information.

@262: you have a point, people can lie, but in the first place the data is for yourself and the 'My Data' page will be at the center, together with 'Journal'. Of course, it can mess up the 'Global Data'. I was planning on making the website invite-only, to reduce the number of trolls.

Check out MyBB's API. It's probably outdated but it's worth a shot. You'd be able to access a lot of the forum's features, like being able to log in to the website with our forum accounts; this would definitely reduce the amount of trolls. Here's another post that you might find useful as well.
