I don't think enough can be said about how much well-developed communication skills can improve your life.

The ability to..

• speak eloquently and articulate your points clearly, concisely, and convincingly
• engage in and hold your own in witty banter with the best of 'em
  

would pay massive dividends whether you're bringing a girl into your frame, trying to seal the deal on a sale, or you're playing poker and shooting the shit with a few seasoned business guys.

Any advice or resources to help guys with average verbal skills slowly elevate themselves to silver tongue status would be greatly appreciated.
