Lexington is an interesting mix of people and cultures. You have the "old money" people, the "horse money" folks, the college students, the powerful institutions like University of Kentucky, horse farms, the multi- National Championship winning basketball team, bourbon distillers, and horse tracks.
Events like Keenland, The Kentucky Derby, UK Basketball, Graduation Week, Tailgating for football games, Pool parties at college apartments, Basketball "riots", and Thursday Night Live downtown make for an interesting place to visit or live for almost any young man.
The Major Pros
-The overall quality of women is higher than most other U.S. cities.
- Women have sexy accents
- Nightlife is good if you like college bars.
- People are old school friendly.
- There is always something going on.
- These people like to drink bourbon.
- Traditional gender roles are still somewhat a part of the culture.
- Masculinity is encouraged slightly more because of the "country boy" culture.
- Feminism has not taken a hold of every aspect of a woman's life like in cities such as Seattle.
- One night stands are common.
The Major Cons:
- Cold winters
- The food is great but country cooking is very heavy.
- If you are not a student it can be hard to break into social circles
- It can be a small city socially, consider your reputation.
- The women can be hard to gain and the 8+ are almost exclusively found on campus.
- Country people can be annoying.
- People here believe something based on what they learned growing up and it stays ingrained in their heads even if there is overwhelming evidence to support otherwise.
The Women:
The women here are really attractive. I was amazed at the difference between the north east and the south. The south has hotter women in most cases as is with Lexington. They also seem much more feminine than women from the NE. They dress up, use the term "act like a lady", and are somewhat nurturing.
They like to have a good time but it's different than some other places. It's not uncommon to find girls who like horseback riding, camping and even hunting. This is becoming less but some girls try to embrace the country girl persona.
Girls are easy like most American girls. They put on a hamster show and act like they are good girls but they are nasty as hell when it comes to their sex lives. They do disgusting things like most American women on the first date but especially enjoy being lifted into the air or being fucked on a table. They don't like to call you Daddy as much as other places because many times have decent fathers who are from the good ol' country boy stock.
They value family. Even the ones who grew up in a meth trailer in some godforsaken shit hole like Pikeville still hold their families in high esteem.
The younger women are of the highest value and there are plenty of them to go around because of the three colleges in Lexington.
Who Lex is Good For:
The student and the young person. Everyone here is young and after twenty five you start to feel a little old. If you are a student though you should be fucking. There are many young girls who are ready, willing, and able. There are some older men who can be seen doing well but have status or good game or both.
Logistics:
Living on campus or close to it is your best bet for obvious reasons. Bars, daygame, and tons of girls running around campus. My friend lived right next to the school and I was always impressed at how many girls we could get to stop and have a beer with us or how many random people walking by would stop and party after the bars close. Some days we would just sit on the porch and hang out drinking beer and watching people. Had I known about game in college I would have killed.
Who Lex is not good for:
Generally speaking the older men do not do as great here as the young. I had a few black friends who did not do well with women but then again they may just have had bad game.
Older guys can do well with status. I know a guy who is a good looking former Navy Seal in his forties had a bar, was in a band, and owned a huge lake house where he would throw large parties with tons of girls. He smashed eighteen year olds and girls in their early twenties but he was an exception. He told me his "exposure" to many women and his status was the reason he did so well. I agree.
Nightlife:
WildCat Saloon:
College bar in the center of town. Lots of hot girls who are pretty easy to open and fun to hang out with. Cute girls and very young and open.
Skybar:
Upscale place for mostly older crowd but attracts lots of hot women as well. Worth a look and can be a fun time. Music videos on screen and private rooms.
Two Keys:
Young drunk persons bar. Bouncers like to fight if provoked. Girls are easier because of "fishbowls" filled with alcohol. Goldfish races on Tuesdays.
The Paddock:
A small dive but has a perfect Wednesday and the owners are cool guys. Filled with the same drink your face off culture but again hot women.
McCarthys Irish Bar:
Great Irish pub own by guys from Ireland. The place is huge and there are many good places to isolate and go outside.
Tin Roof:
Some of my best SNL's were from here. KY basketball themed bar right on campus. Go during a game if you can and you will know how Kentucky feels about their basketball players. Impressive.
Trust:
Used to be great but has since gone downhill.
Mamitas
A GREAT bar. This place has outdoor volleyball courts where lots of people play weeknights. My best wing and I got numbers that led to bangs there often. Call first for info.
Day Game:
Campus, campus, campus. The UK campus is huge. If you are older try downtown near Skybar.
KEENLAND:
is for the classy and the redneck alike. This is where horse races are and if you are blessed with being in Lex during this time try to go. It's a very unique experience because of the classy dressing and the huge hats coupled with excessive drinking of KY bourbon. You will see Sheik from Saudi coming to buy a five million dollar Kentucky Thoroughbred, you will see celebrities and the like. If you are a bartender apply here. It's not the best bartending gig but the money is great. I've made seven hundred on a single six hour shift here. Dress up.
Tailgating for football games:
Lots of fun and like any other tailgating even except people start at ten am and go to the bar after.
Pool parties:
If you go to "The Lex" or similar college apartments on sundays you will almost definitely fin a party and young girls. Ratios can be pretty bad but it depends.
Thursday Night Live:
Is an outdoor drinking event near Skybar every Thursday in the summer. Go around 5pm as it end's early around ten. Lots of girls dressed in summer Kentucky dresses and skirts.
UK basketball:
During a game go to the "Tin Roof" and there will be four closely positioned bars full of college age women. These people are CRAZY about basketball and you will hear old people talking about basketball like they are an ESPN analyst.
If you are under twenty five go to state street and party with the kids. You can get laid easily but it is a frat crowd. The party spills into the streets after the game is over. Ratios can be good for America.
