Judging solely from party sites, Stockholm seems to have much better looking girls than GBG. Although few guys who have been to both cities have stated GBG has better looking girls. I suspect the pickings are probably easier in GBG as well.

Since a 5, is something I'd if I was hard up for action...I'd give this girl a 6.

I wouldn't use party sites as a firm indicator of a specific city as much as the pop as a whole. Remember that Swe is a fairly small country with only 10M people, it's all the same gene pool. You'll see a larger genetical and cultural diversity between, for ex, Boston and Atlanta than you'd see anywhere in Swe.

I cannot comment on Gothenburg since I haven't been there, but on Stockholm standards I would give her a 6 - 6.5 at best, maybe a 7 on an extremely good day.

If this Girl is 5-6 in Sweden, I think I live in the wrong country!
Shit! have to get on that plane soon!

Fuck diversity!I'm well served with this tiny pool of genes! Lol

Seriously, the ratings some guys on this forum use to give are ridiculous. Are some of you trying to show off like "I'm sooo picky! (Because I'm sooo successful.)" ?

In real life, 95 per cent of straight men (including those with high standards) would consider this girl as good-looking/attractive. And the rest... is maybe not so straight on a second glance...

In Sweden or in any other country of the world.

Ya, I hear you. Party sites are always tough to gauge. You don't know if they are just photographing the hot ones, or if its an actual slice of the women there.

I don't give 1-10 ratings. I categorize girls as 'no', 'yes', and 'hell yes'. The girl above I'd call a 'yes' (but I'm not all that picky, these days I'm lazy ad rarely stay out later than 1am).

I intended to shoot a video just going right down the main GBG street today just showcasing the talent. Logistics and a private party invite foiled that, I'll try to make it tomorrow.

Great, looking forward to the videos ! 99% of those girls on finest.se are definitely not my type, show us some natural beauty.

To say the girl in the pic is a 5 is just ridiculous, yes the rating system is a little silly but she is a definite yes. If I met her in Sweden I would be happy, If I met her in say UK then I would think I have found the catch-of the day.

Party websites give a pretty good indication of the girls in a particular place, It is a great way to gauge what the people are wearing etc. The trouble for places I have been to like Sweden and Iceland, they don't always showcase the best clubs. Also the photographer will tend to take pics of people he knows or likes.

This chick we're talking about is a goddess to many in this country. She dates A-list celebrities, is an idol for tens of millions of teenaged girls, and is considered the epitome of the "stunning" look that a lot of upper middle class girls(the preppy types mimicked by shows like gossip girl) aspire to as they grow.

And she's just a 6-7? Or, as Vicious said, a "Yes, but I'm not all that picky"?

That's downright depressing. Where I go to school I know girls who don't look even a quarter as good as this famous blonde we're talking about(they're 7.5s in regular america, probably 5s or 6s in Sweden, but solid 8s and 9s on campus), and they carry egos the size of the Trump Tower. It bugs me because I know their attitude doesn't befit them-the arrogance is annoying, and desperate guys with no better options just keep feeding it.

I'd love to ship some of these chicks to Stockholm for a year and see how their attitudes shift. I'd pay to watch that spectacle.

Certainly her attitude would shift... but in a rather negative way. She would come back as an entitled feminist bitch.

By the way, I've travelled a lot and it is NOT DIFFICULT to get dates with attractive US girls looking like her.

And, by the way, I've met a lot of both US girls and Swedish girls in my life, and there are both uglies and beauties in both countries. Saying things like an 8 in US would equal a 5-6 in Sweden is bullshit.

The girl in the pic would easily get lost in a crowd in Stockholm.
Sadly, the girls you describe who average with a ego the size of Trump Tower seems to be a North American epidemic.
I love the look on these girls faces when I mention that I have been to Sweden several times, they realize I will never be impressed by them.
Sadly, I could start a blog about desperate guys in Canada and the pathetic things they do.

I talked a little about this in the 2nd languages thread, might be good to have it fielded here as well.

I do not recommend people to learn any Scandinavian language unless you intend to live and work here for a longer time.
The prevalence of english among the adult and young adult population is so high that there is little reason to learn Swedish. This also makes it tougher to learn Swedish since it is so easy to switch to english at all times and probably make yourself more understood than if you'd try and get off a few sentences of broken swedish (this I've been told by people trying to learn the language).

Due to the high degree of immigrants in Swedens however the language is very available for learning at all universities and in major High Schools. These institutions will typically offer evening classes.

Ok, I'll stick only to French in France then.
I don't know why , but I have the feeling that I'll love Gothenburg and Sweden..and not only because of the women.

Same here, they are great cities with wonderful architecture, efficient public transport, great restaurants, and a generally awesome vibe. People are friendly and cool to chat to.
I plan to spend at least a week or two in each of those cities the next time I can visit Sweden.

I just spent the weekend in Gothenburg and I thought I would drop a little info to add to Vicious' already great intel.

First off I took Vicious' recommendations on the Hotel Avalon. Very dope spot indeed. It would be hard to convince me to stay any other place on my return visits to GTB. The place has great designed roomed, lots of plusses, really great concierge service (I had dry cleaning and fruit, chocolate, champagne on the house).

I stayed in a Superior room on the fifth floor (recommended for smokers as it has a private balcony). The bathroom is almost as large as the room itself ~30sq/m.

The breakfast is also really well done. Really fine high quality food. Something that would easily cost Kr100 ($15) somewhere else.

There is also a really stylish and happening bar in the hotel lobby (Avalon Bar). Lots of beautiful women (of course, this is Sweden).

Heads up though, if you are driving the valet and parking is very expensive. For two nights it cost me kr700 ($105). This makes an already expensive hotel that much more, so be warned.

I was in GTB with a woman so I can not give too much intel on the nightlife. We spent most of the weekend in the room partying like rockstars. The concierge did say he could put us on the list of Lounge(s) if we decided to go. We did not.

Caleo- The best restaurant I have been to so far in Sweden. And for the price even more so. Be sure to check it out if ever there.

Also dope is Bon. Its a happening spot and does not take reservations so it creates a cool pre meal apertivo type of environment.

At this point I would have to say that if I was going to stay in Sweden for the long haul, I would likely choose GTB as the place to be. The people are really cool, very easy going and much more open and relaxed than Malmo. While I still think Malmo has the hottest women in Sweden, I will say that it would be much easier to find women who are down for some fun and yet are still cool to chill with. Twice I was opened by girls in GTB, and once a girl told the girl I was with that she had a handsome and cool man. My girl agreed that GTB would make a good boys weekend getaway.

It's all lies! Don't come here!

(This post has nothing to do at all with the spring being in full effect in GBG and women acting accordingly)

Bon is cool though, right. I live just few blocks away so I know the menu and talent there like I know the lint in my navel.

I need to figure out a way to spend springs in Sweden from now on.

Video I shot just going down the main street: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxG3s8428Po

Quality is kinda bad and you will have to go full-screen and probably have to freeze frame a couple of times to get a good look at the talent, still this might give you a general idea of what you can expect.

If one notices this video there are cafes with outside tables in Scandinavia which provide a lot of space for maneuvering and approaching.Cafes in Mediteranean countries do not look like that. Also there is plenty of space streets are not crowded in Scandinavia, the pavements are large and everything makes the place perfect for daygame.Only the train stations do not provide the comfort of the German Hauptbahnhof.
