Protein World to feminists: Grow up

It's not every day a company stands up against feminism.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/rossalynwarren/w....dcb2wnBAz

Last week Protein World had put signs all over the London Transit system like so, and feminists doing what they do best - began to vandalize them without recourse.

(There are more and better in the link - these were just image ready)

There was even a petition
[Image: enhanced-28905-1429891134-20.png]

Instead of apologizing for the adverts Protein World doubled down and told feminists like it is.

The CEO then had this to say:

Unfortunately he deleted that tweet and it looks like some back peddling is about to happen. Not since A+F / LuLulemon have I seen a company stand by their product and against feminists.

When I was doing missionary work in South Africa some years ago, I recall a story in the local news about a store owner putting out a sign: "Help Wanted: Female Sales Clerk. No Dogs. No Fatties". God, I love these other countries that aren't so tongue-tied and pussy-whipped like we are in the USA.

Those blobs need to leave those fucking signs alone! Fucking feminist fupa trupas. Goddamn. Ugly, fat and stupid is no way to go through life.

Protein World, if you'll pay for my plane ticket and provide me with lodging I'll protect your ad space from the butter huffing hordes.

Hope they don't give in, or backpedal.
If they stick to their guns, I'll order some their products, even though I'll probably never use it.

I'm surprised they vandalize the male one. I thought they only care about having low expectations for women

This is why I like living in Japan, There are virtually NO fatties here, You have to search HARD to find fat girls. Japan doens't play that fat acceptance bs, one time in SHibuya Station years ago (Shibuya is like the Asian Capital of style and fashion that all the hot young girls go to) some silly feminist group put up a fat acceptance poster thingy, but it was:

1)Relegated to the back of the station where people could barely notice it
2)all in English
3)Had a picture of a fat chick who looked like "Matsuko Deluxe" - a fat guy comedian who dresses up as a fat girl to make fun of them, and is apparently ridiculously famous - yes they MAKE FUN of fatties here and the people who do get ridiculously famous for doing it.

That poster was in the station for a week before it was taken down, and never seen again lol.

Women here know what they have and the understand the realities of looking slim and dressing well, they don't try to fight nature, Foreign women here from the west do the complaining but are powerless to do anything about it like feminists do in the west. Hell, most women here MAKE MORE MONEY than young guys of the same age because they know how to make and use their beauty to their advantage.

They also know when it's time to find a man to settle down with, and if they've done it right, they're pretty much set for life.

Talk about a petty cause.

"they're using fit bodies to sell fitness products!" the horror.

I'm glad the company is not backing down, but it's not great marketing and is a little reactive. One simple, firm statement would do the same thing better than a public squabble does. Rather than back down, I hope the company issues one final firm statement and then washes their hands of it, simply ignoring the protest.

Y'know, I just had an idea. Someone needs to do something like this again (put signs around a major city, preferably NYC, similar to these that feminists would hate) and put hidden cameras on or near the signs. Video proof of who vandalizes the signs. Then show the video to the world of the ugly warthogs with a caption "This is what we're talking about!" It could be like a compilation video exposing how ugly feminazis truly are (even though it's common knowledge).

Respect to Protein World.

Getting SJW's mad can easily become a general purpose media/marketing strategy, if done correctly and with the right products or services.

This is the most effective advertising strategy if the company has the balls for it. Outrage advertising (and this wasn't even over the line) leads to a viral campaign against the ad. The company doesn't back down, which only fuels the anger. Meanwhile, entire swaths of the population who never would have seen the ad but for the protests now are exposed because of coverage on blogs and social media.

And the company just sits back like:

Haha, very good.

I've thought about something similar related to the cake store who won't sell a cake for a fag wedding.

Heh, I remember Abercrombie did something like this earlier about not making XL size. The CEO might be a douche, but he is cool in my book for saying this "I dont want fat people to wear our products"

Anyway, is there a way we can support this company?

The whole thing boils down to this, there is a group of people who do not want to work out, do not eat right, and do nothing of substance to improve their appearance. When confronted with products aimed at those who do care about their appearance, and the aspirational photos used to sell those products, it forces them to confront the fact that they are sexually undesirable.

Most women can become extremely desirable by simply eating right, working out 4 times a week, and not disfiguring themselves with tattoos. Hell, most can get away with tattoos if they are not fat.

Men typically do not complain about unrealistic beauty standards but to be fair except for height everything in those advertisements that were aimed at men is totally achievable with 3 months of taking the gym seriously. 2 months of bulking up and 1 month of a burn cycle. It is that simple.

I agree with everything except that you can build a body like that guy in three months. You're not going to put on that much mass in two months and cut to a six pack in one.

Proteinworld and that kitchen remodeling company probably read this:

Lots of marketing tips in there.
