Udo's Oil - 3-6-9 Blend - ACV On Steroids

I recently read "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill", and was spurred to try some Udo's oil.

Although I have a healthy diet, taking two tablespoons of Udo's oil a day has been a game changer. I have experimented with quite a few supplements, (optizinc, a multivitamin, fish oil, vitamin d3, NAC, spirulina), and Udo's oil is hands down the best I've tried. I'd put it slightly below working out, but above everything else.

The Benefits I've experienced:
Noticeably better looking skin. My skin is smoother, more even and just looks more attractive and healthy.
Higher sex drive. I feel more horny more of the time, and am getting more boners.
Finally, and this is hard to quantify exactly, my brain just feels better. I'm currently at university, and am finding work a little easier. I don't get headaches or mind fog as often- my brain just feels like its working slick and fast. Tied into this, I have experienced less anxiety, my brain just seems to be regulating things well.

Admittedly some of this could be placebo, but I would urge all forum members to give it a try and read Udo Erasmus' book if you can/ if you're interested in the body, health and nutrition. It is well worth reading- easily understandable, useful and will transform your understanding of fats.

This recommendation comes with a caveat. If you have a lot of Udo's oil right after eating a fatty meal, or right before you try and sleep, you may feel quite ill- the sensation is hard to describe, but you'll know if it happens. All you have to do is make sure you drink it a few hours before you go to bed to avoid these effects.

I have had Udo's oil and I will concur that it works very well. It's not some super crazy limitless thing but it gives you that overall all around focus and overall benefit.

Great post.

I've been using Udo's Oil for many years -- over a decade now. I take 4-5 tablespoons every day with my yogurt for breakfast. It's also great in juices, both green juices and fruit juices, and you can use it in your salad instead of olive oil. Always keep refrigerated and never heat it up or put in hot food. It's amazing for your skin, brain function, heart health, digestion. Probably the single best dietary supplement out there, and it's remarkable how high the quality has stayed over time. I like the taste a great deal as well.

The studies showing its benefits are very solid, and Udo Erasmus who designed the oil probably knows more about fats, both good and bad, than any man alive.

I should note (before JJG jumps in and says it [Image: wink.gif]) that the kind of vegetable and plant fats that go into Udo's Oil are not the whole story -- men in particular need animal fats and saturated fats as well to keep their DHT and test levels high. But they are a big part of what you need and this oil is a super-optimized way to get them.

EDIT: The only issue I would take with the OP is that the image shows vegetarian softgels. Do not buy the softgels -- always get the liquid oil! It's much much better absorbed.

Hi LoZ,

You can now get Udo's 369 with DHA added :

http://udoshealthproducts.com.au/udos-pr...oil-blend/

Would this be preferable to the standard formulation?

No, I prefer the standard formulation without the DHA. I would rather get DHA separately from fish oil or just from food, and consume the Udo's in its original formulation which I think is the best and purest one.

In addition it should be noted that it's hard to find a truly great fish oil. Eskimo-3 was one, but unfortunately they went out of business not long ago, and I'm still searching for an adequate replacement. High quality and freshness are absolutely crucial in a fish oil, otherwise it rapidly becomes rancid and is worse than useless. If I find a superior fish oil to replace Eskimo-3 I'll be sure to post about it.

Lizard, since this post have you come across any quality fish oil comparable to the Eskimo-3 liquid? I would really like to find one but I'm not coming up with much.

I am considering this: Carlson Labs The Finest Fish Oil

How does this stuff taste?

I've seen it in a cooler for sale at the grocery store, it is expensive but if half the stuff written about it on here is true it might be worth it.

What about the fish oils from Stronger Faster Healthier?

I’ve heard from multiple people they are “the best”.

We have one of those "natural grocers" stores in town, according to their website they have a bunch of Udo's stuff in stock. I do remember they have a giant section for vitamins and shit, it's HUGE.

Just bought some, it was pretty expensive around $24 CAD for a 500ML bottle. They had the bigger bottle but it didn't save you any money.

Obviously I can't talk about results after drinking it 10 minutes ago for the first time but the flavour is bearable, I drank it straight out of a measuring spoon. If I see noticeable results are this bottle is gone I will buy it again. I took the recommended serving of 2 Tablespoons.

Just bought from iherb. The liquid one. Fucking expensive. My gf said I can last forever in bed and I have better control of my cum. Normally when i am on nofap, I ejaculate fast. This time I don't. I am amazed. Also my brain functions faster and better in quality. I can articulate things to people easily. It seems everything in my body has improved as the result of ufo's oil.

I've been taking this for a little over two weeks now, I haven't noticed as many benefits as some guys on here but my hair does seem a bit better. Once this bottle runs out I will buy another bottle and then fully decide on whether to keep buying it or not.

I made a mistake and bought the soft gel caps. It takes 14 caps to be equal to 1 tablespoon of the udo's oil. I thought it would come handy when I am traveling. Apparently chugging 70 caps at one go is not a feasible idea.

A necessary update on fish oil.

A friend - a self described ‘reformed drinker in Tokyo’ - has reminded me, indeed insisted, that I update the record on fish oil. This comes from a man who, no kidding, takes multiple bottles of fish oil with him on vacation— vacations which already exclusively revolve around a port or a beach and seafood markets. As I said to him, at this point he must be roughly 35% fish oil by volume. He knows what he’s talking about, and previously gave me the lowdown and a recommendation.

As many of you who used it will know, the old Eskimo-3 oil disappeared around 3-4 years ago. Well, according to his research, the Wisconsin based company Enzymatic Therapy (makers of the old Eskimo-3) was acquired by NutraSea, based in Nova Scotia. NutraSea has continued on with producing a similar and extremely high quality oil from the same sources as the old Eskimo-3.

I’ve been taking NutraSea for some time now and indeed it’s the best quality around from my experience. There are multiple flavorings, I find the classic Lemon the best.

Here are a few sources where you can find it:
