Action, no question. From Superhero movies to Die Hard and all of the knockoffs, here the big moneymakers are always the summer blockbusters. And they are, by definition, action movies.

Chick flicks make the most money. It cost a lot more to make action movies because you have to blow shit up and have cool scenes so there's less of a profit if the movie don't do well.
