If baking soda works for smelly vaginas, then I'm going to keep an "open in case of emergency" baggy in my wallet. I'll just have to remember to remove it when I go through airports.

Airports don't allow one to take baking soda through???? What is the fear behind that?

Baking Soda for deodorant?

Last December I started breaking out in burn-like rashes under my arms from Degree deodorant. What was strange is that I'd been using this deodorant for years with no problem. Then for a few months after any other type of deodorant was giving me similar allergic reactions. I laid off deodorant for awhile and started rubbing Neosporin under my armpits. It's an anti-biotic ointment. That stuff pretty much nukes all bacteria under your arms and can keep you odor free there for a couple days. I guess it would work on your balls too, lol...though I can't say I've tried that. There are anti-biotic powders too you can buy.

Only problem is, I'm wary about people doing this on a large scale because in the end we're probably helping bacteria evolve super-resistance with all these anti-bacterial products we now use in everything.

If someone wants to Moma explain why you shouldn't carry small baggies of baking soda in your wallet through airports, then be my guest..

Don't be sarky. I fly at least three times a year and I have carried all sorts of stuff..scissors and baby powder without hassle.

Last time I heard, baking soda wasn't an illegal substance...and plus the airports have hounds..

They dont allow WATER on airplanes

Airport security = chopping off your leg at the knee to cure your athletes foot

Back on topic....

So does the soda only clear up the smell, or does it actually prevent perspiration?

ayeayeaye...thank you.

Listen, I responded to that unduly sarcastic idiot Moma via pm to keep some hostility off the forum, but seriously, if you dont know why its not good to carry a substance that LOOKS like coke in a small sealed baggy in your wallet, which LOOKS like coke packaging, into an airport, then I can't help you. Think about it. And if you cant think of any good reasons why you probably shouldn't do this, then carry on as planned.

Well, I just tried this baking soda bizwizz for the first time today and so far it's been working way better than the usual deodorant I use. In fact, there is no noticeable smell coming from my pits. Yeehaw!

Someone try the George Carlin method, slap on the baking soda past then stick a bay leaf under there and see if you smell like soup [Image: tard.gif]

Yup it really is amazing.

I've abandoned the baking-soda-in-the-balls project. In left my crotch feeling slightly cool, a feeling that I did not enjoy.

I second that on the baking soda tip. My deodorant has now remained dormant in my bathroom for almost a week and I smell great. I tried the baking soda in the balls and it feels a bit weird but so far so good, I did the sniff test at a very humid point during the day and the scent was pleasant.

I feel VERY confident presenting my package for upcoming lizards to blow!

Thanks for the tip, Roosh, that shyt is a gem.

So the baking soda really works? I might have to make the switch from speed stick....

do you just rub the baking soda on your pits straight out of the box?

1. Take a shower.
2. While your pits are still wet, dip two wet fingers in a tub of dry baking soda.
3. Rub into pits until no more baking soda is on your fingers. Add water to your fingers if necessary.

Keep your baking soda source dry. If it gets wet, the baking soda will have a hard time sticking to your fingers and you'll have to kinda scoop it up with your fingers and cradle it to your pits.

Yes, it really works. I've never been so proud of smelling my balls in my life. Even some days when I am over the 12 hour window for taking a shower, I reach down into my nether regions and pluck a bunch of pubes between my index finger and my thumb and sniff.

Nothing foul. I can't wait to offer up my meat to a lizard for the blow..in fact, I have a link tomorrow, I'll ask her to sniff my balls and be honest.

Thanks again.

For those of you with questionable skin, you can also use the baking soda as a valid exfoliate. Rub it on your face, leave it on for about 3-5 mins and then wash it off. You'll never have felt so fresh in your life.
You can also use it to clean your stove, the sink, the fridge and mop the floor.

No one ever answered wether or not the baking soda actually stops perspiration though. Does it actually keep you from sweating or does it just neutralize the smell?

will the soda method prevent the dark spots under the arms on a hot day?

It does not stop perspiration, only neutralize odor.

For that you need aluminum based products.

Baking Soda for deodorant?

This stuff is the real deal! Baking soda works incredibly well. I've been using it the last few days even after 24hrs, I don't even have a hint of musk under my arms even after going to the gym. Last night before I went to bed, I rubbed some under my arms, and yes just for the sake of experiment, put it on my nuts too. So to put it to the test, I didn't shower and then went for a 25 mile bike ride. I was covered with sweat. When i got home, I sniffed my arms and no smell whatsoever. My groin doesn't even smell after all that riding. I'll never use deodorant again.

Baking soda seems like one of those wonder products that does lots of stuff. You can drink it if you have an upset stomach, you can use it on your skin and it's supposed to be great for that, you can use it to clean your house, remove smells from the garbage can or fridge. Here's an extensive list of other things it can do:

To bad it doesn't help with sweat like deodorant. That's the only reason I'm not using it.
