Tom Vu and old-school sales techniques

Found an old infomercial about an Asian man who hired pretty girls and cars to sell his products.

"I'm a genius who found a money making system."

I like how he squashes an objection at 2:55.

Looks like nothing has really changed about the sales game. People still show off their material wealth and women to sell products. The modern Tom Vu is Tai Lopez, who got caught renting cars and houses to pimp his products.

I remember those commercials, and the in living color skits.

"A stripper last night brought up "Rich Dad Poor Dad" when I mentioned, "Think and Grow Rich""

I'd go to a Tom Vu seminar. I feel like he would show you how to commit title fraud. I remember the first generation vietnamese that I grew up around in Canada were super hustlers. One kid lived near the school and his mom would buy cigarettes and sell them individually to high school kids out the back door for something like a dollar. Totally illegal but they were making $25 on a $4 pack of cigarettes.

The In Living Color Tommy Wu skits were hilarious

"A happy man is a happy everybody else in his life."

"Ladies if you want to make your man happy, think about what makes you happy and do exactly the opposite."

"Hey how you doin' and I hope you know that I'm an upgrade for your stupid daughter." - Patrice O'Neal

I prefer old fashioned hawkers with solid, sustainable products

YoungBlade's HEMA Datasheet
Tabletop Role-playing Games
Barefoot walking (earthing) datasheet
Occult/Wicca/Pagan Girls Datasheet

Cows die,
family die,
you will die the same way.
I know only one thing
that never dies:
the reputation of the one who's died.

Tom Vu has so many funny one-liners... my favorite is where he's on a boat with several girls in bikinis and he asks the viewers, "You think these girls like me? No! They like my money!"
