You're misunderstanding how this works. You're right, no fat women will ever see the ad inside the pages of Sports Illustrated. They will, however, see it here:
http://www.etonline.com/news/159150_ashl...imsuit_ad/
Or here:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/04...08528.html
Or here:
http://pix11.com/2015/02/04/plus-size-mo...t-edition/
Or maybe here:
http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/02/04/ashl...lustrated/

It even has a built-in hashtag, which is getting a ton of hits here:
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23curvesin...s&src=typd

No, this is an extraordinarily successful campaign that understands its audience perfectly. The people behind it are very, very clever.

Fair enough.

I wouldn't fuck Miss Piggy here, despite what anyone says. She has A+ genetics that manage to make her look slightly less like a cow, but check this shit out:

Yum, look at them rolls.

I don't have a pregnancy fetish, so this does nothing for me.

Her tubelike structure acts as a deterrent to my boner. I'm sorry dude, but even as a guy who likes curvy latinas, this chick is fat. Realize that these are all glamor shots, too, taken at angles to make her look less whalelike, and certainly edited as well. I bet she looks like a doughy mess naked, in person.

Agree with Texas_Tryhard.
WB the girl in the highly photoshopped advertisements, with perfect lighting and hours spent on makeup.

The actual girl, however? No. Not a chance.

What a great troll job. Who knew trolling was so profitable.

What's also interesting is a lot of comments are some variation of "Sorry, she's not even plus size."

This heifer ain't fat enough.

I have no problem calling out big ballerism. But saying you would not bang this beast is not being a big baller. It's being red-blooded and having some goddamn standards.

This bitch is a 6 at her very best, fully clothed to exploit her favorable facial structure and hair. If she worked out and had some self control, she could be 8.5+.

Just imagine this "BBW" in your bed, from the above pictures.

Really? You WB? I don't know man. If that's not a fetish, it's damn near close.

Banging these fat bitches is even worse than banging a feminist, because feminism at least gives players fringe benefits, like slutty behavior. Banging this cafeteria lady with ham hocks for arms encourages her and her kind to continue to suck down Ben & Jerry's by the gallon.

Fuck this fat bitch. Fuck SI. Fuck those goddamn advertising trolls.

WNB.

The cultural importance here is that those cow size bikini makers felt bold enough to put the ad in and SI didn't feel bold enough to resist. It was just a matter of time given everything else that's been going on. The question, as always, is if men with functioning dicks will gripe enough/not buy the magazine. Women might buy it though and that would confuse SI's reading of the numbers.

Fuck fat acceptance.

You guys are crazy.

I would ride this bitch like a plus-sized Seabiscuit.

I would take her to McDonalds and make her suck me off for McNuggets.

I would pull her into the shower and force her to kneel for a soapy titwank.

I would rawdog her jiggling body till she roars like a bear.

And when I was finished doing every depraved thing I can think of to her, I'd leave a chocolate bar on her nightstand and say:

When googling her to look for pictures, I noticed that there were two distinct subsets. Ones in which she looks like she's been hitting the gym and has hips, curves, but a flat (with babyfat) belly, and ones in which she resembles a lumpy bag of tennis balls. I assume her weight and hotness fluctuates or has fluctuated.

We each chose a different set of pictures. However, from watching the backfat visible in her SI advert (not the picture), she appears to be on a BMI upswing at this time, and is thus currently in cow mode. WNB.

The girl from your first picture? WB.

Notice in your third pic that she's wearing her swim shorts all the way up to her belly button to hide her FUPA. You'd really want to see that in a girl you're banging?

Your second pic, she's got that lumpy-thigh look from her underwear that makes me want to puke.

And in your last pic, doesn't it just look like someone chopped her head off from a normal-sized-girl's picture and put it on a big chick? It's so unnatural-looking that it just stands out from what otherwise is a pretty flattering picture. Imagine how bangable she'd be if she lost some of that weight.

I have to go with Mr. Tyson on this one. She's a practice bitch all the way.

Edit: I can't find anything on her weight, but she's 5'9" 38-30-46. That's a big bitch. My boner stops working once they are larger than me. I've fucked a few porkers in my day, but at least I was still a larger human being than them.

All the pics are even more heavily photoshopped than usual. You have to keep in mind that there is plenty of disgusting cellulite with women like that going on. The fat moves and wobbles in all directions and most of us being next to them would seem as we have taken a line-backer on a date.

I know that some guys are into thicker girls or are willing to go that route as she is pretty enough, but for the majority of the male population the boners will be weaker than if she were more athletic.

The viral impact of the ad is clear, but for fuck's sake - when can we expect Playboy models and porn-stars to consist only of fat blobs?

Will we see lard-balls like those in 20 years on Sports Illustrated?

I am certain that in real life this Ashley Graham looks very much like that. I know for a fact that my boner is at half-mast if the girl is fatter or older or uglier - maybe it's different with you guys and you can fuck a cucumber, a war-pig or a bloody donkey, but I cannot stomach that. (despite the fact that this particular model is very pretty, but a big shame about her fat)

Let me get this straight:

With Tess Munster (Size 22) just got her first model gig and told us WE shouldn't define beauty standards #effyourbeautystandards.

Yet now we've got this thick girl being put into A MEN'S magazine, to try and define beauty standards to men ?

Seriously what the fuck is going on here ?

Oh shit, I missed the backfat pic.

That's an ethical quandry.

Still... would bang...

But I wouldn't tell anybody about it.

These morons think they're healthy because their doctor didn't tell them they're about to drop dead of a heart attack. That is so fucking short-sighted it's beyond belief. Sure your health may not be in any immediate danger, but if you're that chubby when you have youth on your side, how pretty do you think it'll be when aging kicks in and your metabolism slows? Anyone who can't keep off the rolls when they're young should be extremely concerned about not only their present quality of life, but also their future health.

WNB.

I can deal with a stomach roll. My boner dictates that:

in order to become erect, a female's stomach roll shall not exceed one-and-one-half (1.5) inches in width (even that is pushing it) A female shall not possess in excess of one (1) stomach roll, and said stomach roll shall not exceed the width specified above.

Sports Illustrated is owned by Time magazine. This isn't about advertising. This is about a major media company being consistent in its social conditioning.

WB the woman in the first 2 photos. The second 2 photos she just looks like a different woman, and much much fatter.

The real tragedy here is that this woman is potentially hot, extremely hot, when fit. But she may or may not be putting in the time at the gym and instead doing midnight at mcdonalds.

Despite what any of you say, this fat cow, proportionality aside would be ten times hotter if she lost the weight. Massive waste of genetics and face. I also promise you that she wouldn't get any play in Europe. A girl this size will make people turn and laugh. She is relegated to last call 5 am.

I have to laugh at plus size model, that is landwhale model in the real world.

This is technically true, but she is obviously being extremely disingenuous here. If you take care of your body and work out, you WON'T EVER be a size 22, save for some rare disease or condition. Some women who are tall, big boned, busty or very curvy (by the real definition of the word) are considered "plus-size" as far as clothes go, even if they are healthy and in no way fat. Of course, most "plus size" women think and claim this to be their situation like this model in the magazine, even though in reality we all know they are just fat and lazy.

WNB. I find this whole thing sad, actually. She's a beautiful girl - if she would only EAT RIGHT AND EXERCISE, she could turn men's heads as something other than a freak show. She's the equivalent of the bearded lady at the Circus - "Hey! Lookee here! There's a beautiful chick with the body of Shamu!!"

Worked with a girl like this once. I felt bad for her, also.
