I had a great trip and really enjoyed Colombia. Travelled with Scotian pretty much the whole time who was an amazing tour guide and a great buddy to hang with. I went big on 'game' first week but after that just enjoyed the nights out and getting drunk. After the first week we switched towns a lot and were traveling with other guys at times so wasn't the most conducive set up for getting girls. That was all good though and still had a great time.
A rough overview of the trip was Bogota > Coffee Area > Cali > Flew to Cartagena > Santa Marta > Barranquailla > Monteria ( I think) > Medellin > Flew to Bogota > Home
Bogota:
It seems to get mixed reviews but I really liked it. Found the girls here easiest to pick up. My look (light hair and eyes) definitely gets me a lot of IOIs and it is easier to game here with girls having a better understanding of English and American culture. Some would see this as negative maybe compared to more Colombian girls elsewhere but I think it makes it the best city to 'break in' to Colombia. Definitely lots of hot girls. Dancing is king and it definitely helps to know how to move. Also having Spanish is a lot more important than Bogota. That goes for all cities really. We got pretty smashed most nights here and only managed to get one girls off tinder on an off night. Taxi to her place - walked to nearest bar - bought her a drink - taxi to motel. Her first time in one and she had a little freakout about the rooms but calmed down quick enough. Quite a fun bang but a boring girl.
Cartagena/Santa Marta:
Both places had lots of talent. Sweated my balls of though. The coast is a lot different with tones of rubbish and a noticable difference in attitude and culture. If I had good Spanish I would consider sometime up here for the girls alone but not at the moment with my very basic skills. Lots of darker girls who are sexy as f*ck. We had one of the funniest moments of the trip here - after leaving a stripclub in the early hours we hail a taxi who takes us on a 15 minute trip to our hotel. When we get out of the taxi we here a club with music just around the corner so decide to go check it out. Same stripclub we just left haha! We got dropped off maybe 80m from where we started! At the Barrenquailla carnival we met a lot of cute friendly girls from both of these towns so there is definitely a lot of potential for both of these places. With guys with lighter skin though you would have to be inside for most of the day.
Barrenquailla:
Although a bit of a shithole I really liked this town. Didn't pick up any girls die to getting hammered drunk every night. My worse hangover of the trip easily. Festival is a lot of fun and we explored some of the beaten track neighborhoods. So much talent but everybody is in festival mode making it hard to work any sort of logistics or gameplan. To be honest I just wanted to party and although I ran some game wasn't focused on pulling and just enjoyed the moment. Best part are the street parties late in the night which are a lot of fun. 100s of people just getting shitfaced on a random street corner. Quite a few cliche backpackers in the mix but still a great time. I think outside of peak season this is a town where a foreign guy could kill it. Again maybe I will hit these up another time when my Spanish improves.
Monteria (I think):
One night stop between buses. Had a massive fancy mall with about 6 people in it. Probably has some good potential but we didn't go out drinking. I am not even sure this is the towns right name. Scotian can clarify that one.
Medellin:
Really liked this city. Lots of stuff to do and great atmosphere. Climate is perfect. We stayed near the Stadium area which is a cool spot with lots of stuff going on and plenty of people out and about. We hit up some of the all you can drink nights and while having a great night didn't hook up. I seen a girl I had been dancing with and chatting with for a good while getting sick moments later out front haha. The gringo factor isn't as strong here and girls are a little harder to game. The juice is worth the squeeze though. I was close to coming back to here but without some Spanish I would probably have a lot more work to do gaming girls.
Overall I just went into drinking mode after week one and didn't really try pickup too hard. Next trip will be different as I will be rolling solo. I got a great overview of the different cities and a good idea of the pros and cons of different places which is what I was more after.
Online: Tinder is huge. Didn't use any other apps or sites. Problem with tinder though is the amount of flakiness (well discussed already), girls always want to reschedule and if it rains they all stay at home. After a few days I used tinder more for fun then actually expecting results. I got something like 250 matches though in a few days. Pretty much 1/2 of the girls were yes. When I return I am going to focus more on day and night game. Makes more sense to just for girls that are already there and save yourself time spent online.
Adjustments in game: I lost a LOT of girls by trying to be funny or sexting using either tinder or whatsapp. You really have to cut all that out. Even obvious push jokes like 'you can clean my room' or 'I want a women to pay my bills' were taken very literally. Scotian warned me repetitively but I would still forget and lose the girl haha. Probably lost another 5 girls easy over the trip. I had I think three different nightclub make outs that I would then mess up the second meet up by using cocky online game. Don't do it!!!
In person though it does work quite well. I do a lot of physical push/pull and some basic Spanish verbal game. Used my translator quite a bit on dates and just acted out what I was trying to say. Keep those adjustments in mind. Remember that a short time ago, this country was very dangerous. Safety concerns are in the collective memory. It is important to make girls feel safe and secure initially. Gain their trust. Joking with them too much and talking about sex is not necessary. Going from Colombia to Toronto is like going from cheap steak to expensive McDonalds. More effort and less reward. You can't be shocked anymore. I think the worst part is the perception/lie we've been lead to believe where it's acceptable for a 9 to act like a brat and have an ego because "that's how it is." No. It's not. AT ALL.
The worst part: It's not about the looks. I can "accept"* girls looks in Toronto. I just can't handle the attitude, that's the real killer.

That was me. The girl who sent me that number turned out to be less than completely random, I had been staring her down a little bit before you guys (and my girlfriend) showed up.
