I wonder if he was subconsciously talking about his wife there. I imagine that the old bag-o-bones was a nagging cunt always screaming at him to do his manly duties and fix this house. It's because of gas, water & electric lines all have to be disconnected first. Could result in a lot of water or fire damage to neighbor's property and anyone ever having to deal with insurance knows good luck with getting insurance to pay for anything! I wouldn't want my neighbor tearing down his home without knowing all the stuff was disconnected first.

Sure, but it's common place for women to steal whole houses from the men that paid for them.
