I went back and reread my original

That's a pretty bold statement to say the entire suburban population of a major city is made up of single mothers who are getting nice places financed through child support payments. I personally don't know anyone like this after years of living in Miami.

Brickell is mostly made up the following groups:
1. Young and middle aged professionals
2. Students
3. A small amount of the service industry workers who work in the bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

The smallest rent payment you're going to get away with in Brickell is probably about $1100 a month if you share a $2200 monthly payment with a roommate. You're probably going to need a bare minimum of something like $2300 a month to get a place in Brickell and survive.

Use this child support calculator for the state of Florida and you'll see a guy would probably need to be making 14-17k A MONTH to owe that much in child support. http://www.alllaw.com/calculators/childsupport/florida


Mortgage payments in Kendall are in the $1600-$2000 a month range. I recently spoke to my real estate agent about this and it seems right considering a lot of houses in that area cost between 250k and 300k. Child support payments to get a place there wouldn't be much less.

So how many girls are getting knocked up by guys making 200k+ a year? I'm sure it happens, but I've never met a woman who would fit this description and I've spent lots of time hanging around places in Brickell like the Viceroy and Blue Martini that are known for gold diggers. What's going on in Chicago now with Latinos is actually a big wave of gentrification due to the growing number of students going to the University of Illinois at Chicago and UC. Latino neighborhoods are being gentrified and you're now seeing a huge wave of Latinos moving to the suburbs. When it comes to Latinas, the whole South side of Chicago and the Chicagoland area and the North West Suburbs are my spots.

Yeah, Milwaukee is not bad! I need to roll back up there and hit up the dance scene. A few of my dancing friends have checked it out and said it's easy pickins.

I'm also in Chi now, downtown, far north/west side and north/west suburbs are where I typically roll. I try to avoid the super-gentrified pockets, at least for meeting women. I think the Latin population in the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor is pretty quirky and some of the girls are good quality, American savvy but still traditionally Latin in many ways and semi-hood rat, which is the sweet spot between hardcore hood rat and Americanized/feminized. Southern California also has some hot hispanics, but it's diluted somewhat by the large influx of trashy, fat hood rats streaming across the border from Tijuana, Jalisco country, et al. Chi and Mil also have a lot of hood rats, but L.A. especially seems to be the first stop for the trashiest Mexican and Central Am women. Maybe it's also just a California thing.

I have no doubt that, like jariel says, Miami is full of diverse, sexy women who wanna drink, smoke, fuck, and little else. But there has to be some better quality Miami girls too. Look beyond the night scene and I would imagine you'd find some good 1st gen immigrants who are gf/wife material down there. Of course we cannot generalize too much when discussing metros as big as L.A. Chi and Miami, but that is why I created this thread, to get a good discussion going on the pros/cons of the Latin wimminz in different parts of the country.

They're better than SF imo, but still not terribly great. CA in general is overrated for Latinas, (and women in general), lots of fat Mexicans, some 1st gen hood rats, some 3rd gen washed-out volleyball players in the suburbs.

I'd be curious to hear about some smaller cities I didn't include on this list. For example, Austin, TX. Hear there's a lot of hotties down there, are they the white women, or does it include the hispanics?

Los Angeles has the best, but if you go to California, I say concentrate on white girls. It won't be easy and you will need to do the research before you go and put in some serious work when you're there.

I have lived in Miami for 10 years except for some extended absences... and what jariel says is entirely true. One exception would be a fresh off the boat good girl but they also get taken fast.

A lot of white guys are just not capable of realizing that they have little to offer. They come to Miami with a dorky Midwestern gaze and don't usually last long. If all you bring to the table is a honed taste for a particular flavor of Latina women you refined by watching lots of porn the city will spit you out. If you "know" which Latinas you really like by your experience jerking off to them well... To understand Miami you must understand the social structures of at least half a dozen counties and see that these layers that make up the city only interact in limited ways. It is essential to speak Spanish FLUENTLY here. Speaking a little will get you disregarded as a tourist. Now add Portuguese to that list as of a year ago.

To answer the original question Miami wins. (Houston would be second but wasn't included.) While it is a big city with a lot of Cuba, Colombia and Venezuela living here it is also where the elite of ALL South American countries send their daughters. Too bad most Americans cant tell the difference between these girls who arrived in Miami on a Falcon 50 vs the ones who came across the desert to Nebraska in the back of a cargo van, because of the silly label "Latin."

OP is kind of over-generalizing the Latinas in L.A. Being from here i could tell you that i havent seen hoodrats in a long time. You would have to go to the ghettos to find these hoodrats you speak of, and even in the ghettos like east LA and Inglewood you find good looking girls w/ good attitudes much more often than hoodrats.

Anyway, what i've found interesting, for the past maybe 8 years or so, is that latina girls (mostly Mexican) in the cities surrounding L.A, such as Downey, Pomona, Rosemead, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Wilmington, Carson, Covina, Whittier, Montebello, Pacoima, parts of SFV, etc, are quite cute, and hot imo. They have the type of body (and booty) that i like in girls; and the other very important thing is that if you are from L.A (L.A), like me, you'll have the exotic factor when you're in these areas. L.A (central/westside) ppl dont venture very often to these outer parts of L.A city/county, so it is not that common for these girls to see a hip and fashionable guy from the epicenter of L.A. A lot of these girls wish to live in the real epicenter of L.A, b/c life in these "provinces" (so to speak) is boring and there's not much to do.

I can only speak from my personal experience, and observations. I clean house when im in some crappy mall or swapmeet in one of those areas. I get lots of stares, usually.

Haha...I'm moving there for multple reasons, the Latina-factor is just one part of the equation.
