Another good reason to head to Europe now is the weak euro.

Just make sure your trip is to a eurozone country.

Dammit!

Check the currency rates. Most of those currencies are more or less influenced by each other, including the euro, compared to currencies like the USD.

These cities are my only options to fly into:

Glasgow, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Zurich, Venice, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Dublin, Rome, Frankfurt, London, Paris and Barcelona.

If I was going to do Budapest, Vienna and maybe Prague, flying into and out of Munich would be my only option which complicates things.

Why not go to Glasgow, find some sluts and then go by low cost to wherever in Europe you want to go?

Sometimes your outbound arriving city doesn't need to be the same as the departing city on the inbound leg.

Glasgow is close to Edinburgh and perhaps less surprising Edinburgh is close to Glasgow. I would choose Glasgow for shopping and gaming and Edinburgh if you happen to be into nice architecture.

Speakeasy I would recommend heading to Cologne actually - you can hit some nice student spots in Germany, and other hidden gems aren't far away (Brussels, Maastricht, Amsterdam, etc.). Flights are cheap to Cologne with lots of non-stops from the US.

The Benolux area is great during winter and girls are pretty receptive. I usually spend Christmas in Holland and bangs are easy to come by.

I don't post datasheets here (a good fisherman keeps the best locations to himself) but if you're in the area send me a PM and I can share some info or meet up.

If you want to check out Carnival, can head to Cadiz, Spain. Huge atmosphere and it should be nice weather. I live in so Spain and was out yesterday in a tee shirt enjoying 20 degree weather. I may complain about certain things here, but weather is NOT one of them as I see the rest of Europe freezing. Fuck that!

Some of you old timers on here know how much I like Vienna, so I am going to give that place a bump. Winter in Austria is amazing.

Fly into Munich and spend a couple days. Then over the border and see Salzburg on your way to Vienna. Maybe make some side trips to some ski towns on the way.

Vienna is the best located city in Europe. Everything is right there by train, or by the world class autobahn (best way to get around Austria/ Germany if short on time).

However, I also agree with Stockholm. I would get a good hotel 45m sq in Stureplan for $110 a night, where the same hotel would cost $250-400 in the summer. The cafes and restaurants are cozy and warm and Swedish girls winter fashion is amazing. They are also surprised someone would want to visit Stockholm in the winter and are much friendlier because of this.

If I had an option of going to Sweden without any contacts in winter or summer, I would choose winter.

Also I hear good things about carnival in Dusseldorf.

The dollar is definitely stronger vs most currencies lately.. like 15% more than it was this time last year vs the Euro, almost 25% vs the Colombian peso.

The sharp fall of oil has something to do with it.. also Delta/United have a mini-fare war to Europe going on right now. It's a great time to travel.

If you're looking for girls I would say no city is good in winter (especially in January but also February).
It's fucking cold and girls are stressed and occupied with the exam session, so they don't go out a lot (or at least they go out less than other months).

Actually one of the best month to come in Europe is March because exams are over and girls wanna have fun to celebrate the end of the session so they party a lot.
Another good month (the best month) is September.

January sucks shit, I myself don't go out a lot in January...

I am trying to think of some European winter carnivals but they elude me. But yeah, Christmas time in Germania is so damn beautiful it hurts. Everyone is in a great mood, rosy cheeked from gluwien and schnapps and the snow and lights on the strasses and markets it all just brings a tear to my eye.

Christmas time in Germany is the best to spend in Nürnberg, München and Dresden.
These three cities offer great Christkindl-markt with great surroundings and atmosphere.

Guys, how much do train tickets cost between these cities, roughly? Munich, Vienna, Prague, Budapest. Is it better to get a rail pass instead? Or would taking a bus or renting a car be better?

Had two short stays in Vienna. First time stayed with a host family early Autumn when it was starting to get cold. Second time stayed by myself late Spring/Early Summer. I found the ambiance to be much more charming & women more affable the first time in the cold. Though grateful to see more of the city during the second stay, everyone seemed much more closed off...not to mention there were exponentially more tourists then too.

Note to self on the autumn/winter trip to Sweden....

The tourism aspect of Europe should always be highly factored.

For example, stay the fuck out of the Italian "hot spots" during the summer. Instead head to Capri, or Sardinia or Maggiore/Como and leave the hordes to line up around Vatican city in the sweltering heat.

Copenhagen and Stockholm, same thing. Nothing tries the patience of a Swede more than having clusters of wandering tourists wondering what to do and doubling the size of their quaint cities and just generally getting in the faces of timid locals.

Nothing against tourists, but I always try and do the opposite of the hordes.

Book early!!! My ticket between Cologne and Belgium only cost 24 euros one way. The longer you wait the more it goes up.

Between Munich and Prague it was only 20 euros one way but that was 3 weeks ago.
I used the bahn site to book my tickets.

Personally from that list you've chosen, I'd stay in Madrid. It's not on the coast however it does have pussy from all over europe and south america staying there. I'm assuming you also know spanish, stay in the Sol area and you'll love it. See the sights, do some daygaming, hit a bar crawl at night, eat tapas and more.

I second this. Madrid is awesome and won't be oppressively hot like it is in Summer.

Does the 10 days within 22 days passes means A person can go to as many countries and stay up to 10 days each and travel must be done within 22 days
