Things You Accomplished in 2014

Good one !! lets motivate one another! In 2014 I...
- lost 20lbs
- met with a weight trainer almost once a week
- cut my beer intake to negligible and wine intake by 2/3 (once a week )
- took up salsa dancing and am out almost every night of the week
- have a steady bang but going to trade up soon- out with the old and in with the new
- paid down line of credit and have manageable mortgage and war chest set up.
- my apartment is clean "chick compliant" all of the time
- thanks to Roosh and the red pill movement for helping me change my view on life

Things You Accomplished in 2014

Damn nice to see some awesome posts throughout the thread after checking back in. I know I had a great year myself but to see some excellent accomplishments in different areas that are subjectively important to each one of us is really motivating.. Drawing ideas and making a great start to the new year.

I don't buy in to the average person's idea of new years resolutions. But I do look at the new year as a new, next page in the book of life, so to speak. It's fun and rewarding to know you've been writing quality content on your book and that there is only room for improvement, and here we are sharing ideas on how to make our books better.

Things You Accomplished in 2014

Excellent thread - already looking into some of the things that guys have mentioned on here.

Fisto what course did you complete (PM me if you want): 'I also completed a life course that has changed my life in unexpected ways'.

I had a tough but great year. It was a year that will lay the foundation for future progress in multiple areas.

- I am now the strongest and heaviest I have ever been. Nearly every lift I do has had multiple PB this year
- Increased my day rate by over a 100%. Really pushed to get in a good place with my job and it paid off.
- I made the most I have ever earned in a single year. More then ten times what i used to make back in Ireland
- Paid off all my debt from previous years and have nothing owed on anything I own.
- Helped out my family with multiple financial situations and have really strong relationships with all of them now
- Have started setting up my side business. Should be profitable in the next 1-2 months.
- Pretty much a drink free year - only three periods of partying. Did two periods of over 3 months drink free.
- Didn't smoke any cigarettes or do any drugs. I am anti neither but just not for me.
- One month solo in Central America (kinda - I met chill girls and traveled together). Got lots of good surf in but next time I think I will travel truly solo, better for gaming but it was a good experience.
- Started to chill down a bit on different things. Was a little bit high strung earlier in the year with different things. Have a much clearer vision now of what I am aiming for and what makes me happy.

Really looking forward to 2015, probably more so then any other year ever. Should be fun to look back on this post in a year and see even more progress.

Thanks for everyone who helped me along!

2014 was a not great. Health/fitness/pussy and most social aspects of my life had terrible results. These are the only accomplishments i can think of:

1. Got my finances in order and career back on track and should lead to very high incomes in years to come.
2. Fixed up my pad.
3. Just rejoined gym.

I have pretty ambitious goals for 2015 and because of my 1st accomplishment there is no reason why i shouldn't achieve them.

2014 was a pretty solid year.

-Recovered from a major business loss(split with ex-biz partner) to come back stronger than ever.

-Last few months have been very good business wise, we've been closing some great contracts and doing really great on various projects. I"m setting myself up very nicely to have a great 2015 business wise, and will keep making more moves to live a comfortable and high income location independent lifestyle.

-Traveled to another Latin American nation and improved my Spanish from complete beginner to advanced beginner. Haven't done spanish lessons in a few months but will have to get back on that in 2015. Currently traveling in Asia.

-Game wise the year was mediocre, yet there was still major improvement, as compared to last year. Had a long as fuck dry spell which I broke by banging the most attractive and most sexual girl I've ever banged this year and kept her around for a few repeat fucks, and got into a couple other misadventures.

I think 2015 will be a great year, especially in the girls and finance department.

Game:

- Got involved in game for the first time, and got over my traditional dependency on social-circle for women. I've made great strides with day game in particular and learned to use my natural introverted nature to my advantage.

Lifestyle:

- Started lifting weights on a regular basis and have definitely felt a spike in confidence, energy, and sexual drive.

- Began to experiment with a gluten-free diet with positive results.

- Developed my Russian to a truly conversational level and plan to continue my learning of the language while adding Spanish and possibly Ukrainian to my linguistic arsenal.

- Experimented with cold showers and meditation

Business:

Got a new job and helped launch another business on the side. The latter isn't particularly profitable yet, but I intend to correct this in 2015.

Things You Accomplished in 2014

2014 was pretty much only a successful year financially for me, and even that could've been better. In pretty much every other area in my life I regressed. I'm not sure how to feel about this, as my biggest problem area in 2013 was my financial situation, as well as not having a job.

Good:
I saved up around $30,000 CDN. I have student loans, but the payments are small, so this is a pretty good war chest.
I have a few people at my current job who I think would give me a good reference if I needed one for another job.
I began to make a real effort to come out of my shell socially. I tend to keep to myself but that's changing little by little.

Bad:
I didn't really advance my career as far as skills go, and didn't get promoted.
I've gotten into really bad physical shape. I weigh 230 lbs; last September I was 210lbs. And I lost muscle.
My sleeping patterns have gotten really bad, and I'm beginning to get bags under my eyes.

The biggest thing stopping me from improving my life faster is my work situation. I work a shit job at a bank, in an area where pay is low, and promotions are hard, developing new skills is hard, and the raises are tiny. I work 40 hours there, but everyday I commute 1.5 hours there and back, so really on weekdays 11 hours of my day minimum is dedicated to work.

I want to set my self up to be able to make money on better terms than now. I feel really replaceable at work, and I don't develop any skills while there. I want to learn something like copywriting and/or web development, and get back to going to the gym 5-6 days a week like I used to, but I just need to find a way to get the time on weekdays.

The first part of the year my focus will be on figuring that out.

- Moved from Ontario to Alberta and worked in the oil sands
- Used oil sands money to travel to mexico and colombia for 2 months each respectively
- Became conversationally fluent in spanish
- Had sex with 7 women (including a 30-something married woman Nascimento knows the story haha)
- Planned to travel to asia to teach english after colombia (was there october and november) but met a couple internet entrepreneurs
- internet entrepreneurs changed my life and how i view everything, found my place... feel more sure of myself than I ever have
- started business, lost some money, learning a lot.. working long hours and loving it. I didn't realize it was friday until someone told me

Looking to fly into 2015, upgrade my style a bit more, get a girlfriend so I can not waste time gaming and spend more time working on myself, increase income, get six pack abs (down 12 pounds so far cutting), learn french and travel again!

Thanks everyone for sharing and thanks fisto for creating this thread so we can all stroke our egos

It's not about stroking egos. It's about celebrating worthy accomplishments. Inspiration is a powerful thing, don't insult what you've done by reducing it to ego stroking.

2014 was shit, but with a good job abroad, 2015 should be quite memorable.

Amen to that.

As mentioned above, I had an excellent second half of 2014, but during that time, I'd sometimes feel I'm not getting enough done or going too slow. Writing what I've accomplished so far in a quarter / half a year shows me how much I've progressed regardless of current struggles, and it's indeed very motivating.

My accomplishments:

RVF related
-Made it to "Wingman" status
-Published my first ROK article
-Motivated by the above, added value to the forum by posting an "Accounting/Finance" data sheet
-Published an article on 3Bromigos
-Met a crazy amount of forum members
-Built a great relationship with a local forum member

Personal accomplishments (although motivated significantly by RVF)
-Moved from a desk job to a sales job with higher income potential
-Went from 0 approaches in 2013 to my first 100 in 2014 (mostly daygame!)
-Got about 10 solid numbers, 2 dates and 2 more solid leads
-Got my best lead, a blond Russian 7.5, after a boyfriend objection (texted me back to meet up)
-Gamed out of my comfort zone and hit on a lot of cute white girls whom I have the most anxiety with (Atleast 80 of them)
-Introduced a friend to game and he decided to go through Europe all of a sudden and got his first bang from cold approach
-Improved my style to include Blazers and pocket squares
-Won a sales competition and made my boss wear pocket squares for a week
-Hooked up with a personal trainer and got a handle on my diet and exercise (through a forum member)
-Made my first two trips out of town exclusively to game

Had some challenges too that I won't mention but hoping to turn those into goals that I'll post in the 2015 thread.

I don't know what to make of the year. I was accepted into the military early 2014 with a join date of late 2014. I essentially wasted the time. I neither gave up smoking, hit the Gym consistently, nor studied Spanish (My goals for that year).

I feel a lot better about 2015. I've gone through recruit training, and am inspired to live a clean lifestyle which will include working out consistently and getting rid of the cigarettes. I will also be saving a decent amount. The majority of 2014 was a write off for me, but it also set me on the path of what I think is a very solid and achievable 5 year plan.

^ One question off topic.

What's the fuzz behind quitting caffeine?
I'm curious to know.

Because I don't see any reason why I shouldn't allow myself a cup of freshly brewed coffee in the morning. Or how that could affect me in a negative way under any circumstances?

Nothing i did is as anything remotely awesome to the other posts but i'll share what little i accomplished..

1-Maintained my sobriety for the first crucial months after withdrawal and kept going.

2-Ceased being homeless. Scored a job 2,000 miles from where i was at and threw some thrift store clothes in a bag and jumped on a Greyhound bus.

3-Vastly increased my poker knowledge-Studied intensely and practiced endless hours on software to get rooted in new styles and strategies. Also began branching out from NLHE.

4-Finally was able to force myself into accepting the notion that if i want to win big, i have to lay it all on the line.

If you drink it too much, it causes problems with your adrenal glands. Basically you become too dependent on it and need more and more to function.

Anyways, I moved abroad a month into 2014 and have been gone for the rest of the year. It's also been my first year surviving solely on online income. Read some books, had some new and exciting experiences, and discovered some things about myself.

On the other hand, it's so much cheaper to live here that I was embarrassingly lazy in business and didn't even come close to maximizing my earning potential. Also slacked off in several other areas. Should be able to get all that stuff back on track and then some in 2015 though.

Great thread.
2014 was my best so far:
- Traveled to Croatia, India, Bosnia, US, China, Cyprus, Romania, Italy, Turkey, Jamaica
- Dropped a couple of toxic friends who were holding me back
- Bought my parents house for them
- Upped my game level, quality and numbers
- Started work on both an app and a product that could be game changers and allow me to reduce/quit work
- Read more books
- Cut down drinking
- Got in the best shape i've been in

Looking forward to 2015.

I did not make a concentrated effort to pursue girls this year. Self improvement was a wider goal

-got my first job part time( proud that it is something more engaging than a menial role)
-saved a decent amount
-got off to a great start in Uni with great grades.
- First yr internship with Big 4 bank

Looking back, 2014 was a pretty decent year for me. Although I've always been very academically inclined, so I hope that I can push myself further and achieve greater success this yr in relation to approaching more and more Lays

Only recently found out that I'd achieved my main goal of 2014:

- Got into Oxford university for a very competitive subject.

That was my main goal, but I achieved a couple of other goals as well:
- Read 20+ books in one year.
- Had sex with 5 girls in one year (as many was my total notch count prior to 2014).
- Started consistently juicing.
- Improved my style considerably.

My university application was the make or break for last year (which thankfully paid off). My goals are a little more balanced this time round.

2014 was a great year for me as I grew my business substantially.

At times it was extremely stressful but I have learnt so much about business that is invaluable going forward.

I also saved about $60k with the aim of buying a place outright with little or no mortgage by 2017 when ill be turning 30.

Need to work on health and fitness, and cut way back on drinking in 2015.
