Brazilian Politician Tells Congresswoman She's Not Worthy of Rape

Gotta love those Brazilians

A Brazilian Congressman apparently told a female colleague who had allegedly called him a rapist that he wouldn’t sexually assault her but because she’s “not worthy” of it.

Representative Jair Bolsonaro reportedly made the comments on the floor of the national legislature Tuesday after lawmaker Maria do Rosário gave a speech condemning the human rights abuses of the U.S.-backed military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985, a regime Bolsonaro defends, according to a translation from the Huffington Post. “Stay here, Maria do Rosário. A few days ago you called me a rapist, in the Green Room,” he said. “And I said I wouldn’t rape you because you’re not worthy of it.” The Green Room is a private room in the capitol building.

“I was attacked as a woman, as a Congress member, as a mother,” do Rosário told the Brazilian news agency O Globo. “When I go home, I have to explain this to my daughter… I’m going to press criminal charges against him.”

The fucked up thing about Brazilian law is that she can actually make a criminal case against him for essentially saying she is ugly.

Do you know she can press criminal charges or are you lead by her claim that she can?

I don't think any chick is "rapeable", but this one definitely isn't.

Although if she really called him a rapist then she deserved the response.

Gentlemen how do you respond when a woman calls you a rapist, out in public ?

Some poor bastard lost his life because of a harpie and others reputation turned to shit. Wouldn't want those things happening to me or any of my fellow members here.

Brazilian Politician Tells Congresswoman She's Not Worthy of Rape

All feminists from Brazil are making a storm about it, claiming he is encouraging rape. They say the congressman is trivializing rape meaning woman are divided between the worthy of rape and woman who doesn't. The congresswoman attacked him first, by calling him a "rapist" just because she disagree with his politics positions.

I wonder: Isn't calling a man rapist, just because you disagree his positions, another way to trivialize rape too?

Here's the thing. Even if he had slapped, her, bent her over, and raped her right there on the floor of the Brazilian Congress, it would not even be among the top ten most illegal things done that week by a Brazilian senator or congressman.
They are corrupt as hell, and in the northern states, have their opponents killed on a regular basis.
