Girls lying about rape to get you jealous

So in the Rolling STone UVA "rape" fiasco, it has come out that basically, the entire story was a fabrication on the part of Jackie to get a guy who had rebuffed her advances jealous. Reading about this was startling for me because basically the same thing happened to me at school, without the bloody horror movie details.

Has this sort of thing happened to you? This happened to me when I was a freshman at college. I'll spare every detail but basically this one girl in our social group was interested in me and I wasn't interested. Suddenly she started coming up with a series of sexual assault stories which she would share with me. At first I took her seriously and was shocked, and brought her to the police thinking it was true. After hearing one after another, I got the idea that this girl was just crazy and stopped hanging out with her. Eventually she fell out of our social group, then about a year later one night out she confessed to a friend of mine that she told me all those stories to get me jealous cause she was into me but I wasn't into her.

It's just shocking how insane so many people are. Is this a common experience you guys have?

Here is the account from the Washington Post article. It's worth a full read, very revealing:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/educ...ml?hpid=z1

Randall said he met Jackie shortly after arriving at U-Va. in fall 2012 and the two struck up a quick friendship. He said Jackie was interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with him; he valued her friendship but wasn’t interested in more.

The three friends said Jackie soon began talking about a handsome junior from chemistry class who had a crush on her and had been asking her out on dates.

Intrigued, Jackie’s friends got his phone number from her and began exchanging text messages with the mysterious upperclassman. He then raved to them about “this super smart hot” freshman who shared his love of the band Coheed and Cambria, according to the texts, which were provided to The Post.

“I really like this girl,” the chemistry student wrote in one message. Some of the messages included photographs of a man with a sculpted jaw line and ocean-blue eyes.

In the text messages, the student wrote that he was jealous that another student had apparently won Jackie’s attention.

“Get this she said she likes some other 1st year guy who dosnt like her and turned her down but she wont date me cause she likes him,” the chemistry student wrote. “She cant turn my down fro some nerd 1st yr. she said this kid is smart and funny and worth it.”

Jackie told her three friends that she accepted the upperclassman’s invitation for a dinner date on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.

Curious about Jackie’s date, the friends said that they tried to find the student on a U-Va. database and social media but failed. Andy, Cindy and Randall all said they never met the student in person. Before Jackie’s date, the friends became suspicious that perhaps they hadn’t really been in contact with the chemistry student at all, they said.

U-Va. officials told The Post that no student with the name Jackie provided to her friends as her date and attacker in 2012 had ever enrolled at the university.

1st. Shouldn't this go in the UVA thread?

2nd.
"It was 1 a.m. on a Saturday when the call came. A friend, a University of Virginia freshman who earlier said she had a date that evening with a handsome junior from her chemistry class, was in hysterics. Something bad had happened."

I thought is was from lifeguard duty... Maybe I'm a little behind on what else has come out regarding the false claims of the original story.

Girls lying about rape to get you jealous

^ This was spurred by reading about the UVA case, but really here I am trying to elicit similar stories, if they exist, from guys here.

Has some girl concocted a rape story just to get attention from you the way this girl did?

Girls lying about rape to get you jealous

Ok, I see the angle you are taking.

My friends and I had a rule of thumb in college: If a girl tells you she was raped then you have been placed in the friend zone.

I was the only guy that broke that barrier. I honestly think it is some sort of shit-test. A real rape victim wouldn't want to publicize their traumatic experience to a man they are interested in. If you react as anybody should to a rape report then you will be friend zoned. However, if you pass over it smoothly then you become immediately desired.

Two girls used this on me during my senior year, and I ended up hooking up with both 24 hours after their "announcement". The first girl talked about how she got black out at a New Years party years ago and woke up with a dude inside her. The second girl told a story about how an ex followed her home and violently raped her in a manner that sent her to the hospital. I asked if either men were reported to police, and when I learned that neither learned I resumed to change the topic. The second's story was definitely used to elicit jealousy.

^^ ok well how do you go about passing over it smoothly?
I had a similar situation happen to me and the I replied with "look you should have turned him in if its true." I definately failed the shit test if that's what it was.

Girls lying about rape to get you jealous

My experience with it doesnt synch up with what ddjembe is saying.

After the first time this particular girl told me about it, the stories continued, and her interest in me continued as I began to realize she was nuts and distance myself from her. She later confessed to a friend that all this was just an attempt to get me wanting her, asking him why I never did want her.

So it was not a shit test, it was more a psycho hail mary to get me interested in her.

Here a bitch who not only accused a politician of sexual, but turns out faked her CV completely and claimed that she had no sexual relations with him - despite plenty of explicit texts.

13 Women Who Lied About Being Raped And Why They Did It

Quote:Quote:

Two sensational rape stories in the media have brought to light the question of false allegations, prompting many to wonder just why a woman would lie about rape. In her memoir, Lena Dunham claims that she was raped by Barry, a flamboyant, well-known campus Republican, but her story does not hold up under scrutiny. Jackie, the woman at the center of the Rolling Stone profile on Greek culture at the University of Virginia, claims to have been gang-raped, but the discrepancies in her account resulted in the magazine backing away from the story and questioning Jackie’s credibility. We do not know if either of these women has made false allegations, but false allegations of rape can and do happen. Here are 13 reasons women lie about rape.

1. Women lie about rape to cover up their infidelity

One night, Nicola Osborne got a bit drunk and ended up in bed with a man and they enjoyed “extensive sexual activity.” The episode was entirely consensual and the two swapped phone numbers after they were through. On the way home, it occurred to Osborne that her husband might not think very highly of her “activities” and she became flustered and visibly upset. When passers-by came to her aid, she told them that she had been forcibly abducted and raped by a stranger, sparking a massive police response to find the rapist. A subsequent DNA test led police to the man whom she had slept with and he was arrested and held for 12 hours. Once the truth came out that the encounter has been consensual, Osborne was charged with filing a false report and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Women lie about rape to cover up their infidelity.

2. Women lie about rape to explain why they are looking at porn

When Elizabeth Coast’s mother discovered her looking at porn on the internet, Coast explained that her actions were the result of sexual abuse she had experienced at the hand of a neighbor. Coast testified that when her neighbor was 14, and she was 10, he had sexually molested her. Her testimony was compelling enough to secure the man’s conviction. He was sentenced to seven years and served four of those until Coast’s guilty conscience became too much to bear and she admitted that she had lied about an innocent man. Coast was sentenced to two months in prison for her lie and must pay the man $90,000 restitution. Women lie about rape to explain why they are looking at porn.

3. Women lie about rape because they are mentally ill

Rosanne England scratched her face, tore her clothing and concocted a story about a man asking to use her telephone and then violently raping her. She gave police a detailed description that happened to match a 59-year-old father of two teenaged daughters who had no alibi as he had been walking his dog in the woods when the rape allegedly occurred. The man was arrested and held for 28 hours until DNA tests finally cleared him. He continues to face suspicion from his neighbors about his guilt. England gave no justification for the accusation other than she suffers from “mental illness.” Women lie about rape because they are mentally ill.

4. Women lie about rape because they feel guilty

Kelly Harwood had a few drinks and decided that sleeping with her friend’s son was a good idea. Upon reflection, she decided that she had betrayed her friend by doing so and reported her friend’s son for rape. She told police that she had been raped while sleeping, and her friend’s son was subjected to an “intrusive medical examination and interviewed under caution.” Two days later, Harwood relented and admitted that she had lied about the rape. She suffers from depressive illness, exacerbated by the amount of alcohol she had consumed. Women lie about rape because they feel guilty.

5. Women lie about rape if the sex is bad

Lynette Lee arranged to meet a man whom she had contacted through a dating site. They went on a date, which ended with consensual sex in a motel room. Lee then reported the man for forcible rape. He was interviewed by police, who then re-interviewed Lee, who confessed to lying about the rape because “she did not enjoy the sex” and “it was bad.” Women lie about rape if the sex is bad.

6. Women lie about rape when they fail school exams

Rhiannon Brooker knew her party lifestyle was catching up with her when the law student failed her bar exams. She told her exam committee that her performance was affected by “extenuating circumstances” and had her boyfriend charged with multiple counts of rape and assault, including punching her so hard in the stomach that she miscarried. She faked her own injuries to support the charges. The accused spent 36 days in jail before police confirmed that he was at work and had alibis for each of the alleged rapes. Brooker was sentenced to three and a half years for false allegations. Women lie about rape when they fail school exams.

7. Women lie about rape because of psychiatric medication complications

Katherine Bennett had consensual sex with a national guardsman but then reported to police that he had abducted her from a parking lot, taken her to his house and drugged her and raped her at knifepoint before she was able to escape. The police were able to establish that the story had been fabricated but not before the guardsman lost his job and had his reputation seriously damaged. Bennett’s attorney said that Bennett suffers from depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder and “although her condition and complications from medication were not an excuse for the false report, they were contributing factors.” Women lie about rape because of psychiatric medication complications.

8. Women lie about rape when they want attention

Gemma Gregory, desperate for attention from police officers, filed eight false rape charges, accusing seven different men over a period of six years. Former boyfriends were subjected to DNA tests and interviews and huge amounts of police time were wasted so that Gregory could have the attention she craved. After recording hundreds of calls with Gregory, the police arrested and charged her with false allegation offenses. Women lie about rape when they want attention.

9. Women lie about rape to get sympathy

Linsey Attridge was having some relationship problems with her boyfriend and needed to win some sympathy from him. She trolled Facebook and found a picture of a 26-year-old man and his 14-year-old brother whom she had never met and reported them both for a violent rape. To make her story more credible, she punched herself in the face, ripped her clothing and told police that the two men had broken into her house while her boyfriend was away and subjected her to a brutal attack. Both were arrested and had their lives turned upside down as word of the charges spread throughout the community. Attridge eventually admitted to making the whole thing up and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service. She has never apologized. Her boyfriend dumped her. Women lie about rape to get sympathy.

10. Women lie about rape to make boyfriends jealous

Hannah Bryon was mad at her boyfriend for breaking up with her. Wanting some attention from him and to make him jealous, she told him that a man whom she had been flirting with attacked her on a bridge, raped her and then threw money at her to get a taxi. The man whom she identified as her rapist was arrested and put through a stressful examination and questioning but was able to provide police with evidence that he had not attacked Bryon. Bryon was given a suspended sentence and 150 hours of community service. Women lie about rape to make boyfriends jealous.

11. Women lie about rape for revenge

When Cori Lynn Osiecki’s boyfriend broke up with her and started “spreading rumors,” she decided to exact revenge on him by filing a rape charge. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where a rape kit was collected and an investigation was started. Eventually Osiecki admitted that she had lied about the assault because she “wanted to get back at him.” Women lie about rape for revenge.

12. Women lie about rape because they are “moody”

Isabella Himmel was at a bar and her friend wasn’t paying attention to her, which left her feeling “moody,” so she told another friend that she had been gang-raped by a group of male students at the University of Connecticut. That friend believed her story and reported it to police, triggering an action alert to more than 30,000 students and a considerable amount of distress on campus. Surveillance video, however, showed no attack. Himmel then agreed that she might not have been grabbed by the hair and gang-raped by five men, but she might have been kicked or she might have just fallen. Himmel must complete a program that could lead to the dismissal of the false rape report charges against her. Women lie about rape because they are “moody.”

13. Women lie about rape when their friends get mad at them

Biurny Peguero was extremely drunk, out at a bar with friends, and impetuously accepted a ride in a van with three men. When she realized where she was, she became frightened and hysterical. The men took her back to the bar, and that’s when the trouble started. The friends she had left behind were angry with her and a brawl broke out among the women, who punched and bit one another. When a friend demanded to know if the men had raped Peguero, she said that they had. The bruises she had sustained in the fight with her friends were accepted as evidence of rape, and one man spent four years in jail on the charge. Women lie about rape when their friends get mad at them.

Shockingly, this is not even a complete list of the reasons women lie about rape, but if anything is clear, it is that women do lie.

If a girl shit-tests you with a false rape claim, I think its better to not to do with anything with her. Or do you want to be burned at the stakes too?

She happily destroys your life because #feelbad.

This is not a shit-test, it is a criminal offense. One of the reasons why some of the women in the article above were convicted was, because they messed with the wrong motherfucker. If you pull this stuff with a well-connected wealthy man, you may end up in prison for years instead of having to do 200 hours community service.

It is safer for bitches to accuse poor men of rape.

If a girl tells you she was raped, just short time, after meeting you. There is a big chance, that she is making it up. In this case, she is probably batshit crazy and I recommend to next her immediately. Or you might be her next victim and your life will be destroyed, thanks to a false rape accusation.

I personally think that a real rape victim, will probably need years of trust, to open up, and talk about such a traumatic event.

Never had a girl tell me she was raped.

But back in the 90's, when I was college aged, it seemed every other girl had been almost raped.

[Image: 1bd288b14148758c6f1c2d00bcb2254f01e47adb...870c2a.jpg]

Obviously, being almost raped isn't a winning hand any more in the zero-sum game of female attention whoring.

Let's extrapolate this trend.

90's - I was almost raped!
00's - I was raped!
10's - I was gang-raped!
20's - I was gang-raped and then murdered!
30's - I was gang-raped and then murdered and then brought back to life via human cloning and then raped again!
40's - Rape, rape rape-rape rape rape, rape!

If a girl likes you enough and wants you to become more invested in your relationship, she will always try and spur your protector instinct, sometimes that involves recounting stories where you'll be tempted to say "if only I was there, you would never have been harmed".

I've had many women tell me they were taken advantage of or assaulted and even raped.

I don't buy any of it.

Holy shit! Where were you 10 years ago, this is very insightful. This happened to me in 3 straight LTRs I attempted in my blue pill days. One said it was her uncle, the other said it was her step dad, the third was a neighbor. I spent a lot of time around all of these guys and there were no signs of any funny business. No fighting, no awkward silences or looks or anything.

I took them for their word and became extremely sympathetic and went full on lovey dovey wimp with them. Within days after the announcement, they dumped me to the curb but would come back every couple of months to flirt and then walk away again. A couple of them tried to keep the friendzone going for years.

I think you may be on to something here. The 4th time a woman told me she was raped was a couple years ago. My response this time was an emotionless "Right on." and I went back to watching TV. I have never gotten laid more in my entire life than in the months following that night. That relationship ended a few months down the road when she said the L word and I reciprocated.

I have gotten good at spotting and dealing with shit tests lately but damn, this is fucked up.

A girl I dated around 2006 gave me that line once. She said she had been raped by a guy who later died in a fire. I was still low on the red pill ladder and didn't know what to say so I don't remember exactly but I think I just let it drop. Never heard about it again. She later revealed herself to be completely crazy. She basically stalked me for months afterward.

You're exactly right. One of the three girls who told me she was raped was on the fence about having sex with me. It is a shit test. One I failed back then, sadly.

Oh well. Live and learn.

Here's my post about this in the big thread:

Quote:Quote:

I was fucking this annoying girl (would rate at 6) two years ago who was really into me. She kept texting me, trying to call me, and generally was pretty irritating. After weeks of this and her bullshit escalating, one night when I was hanging out with my friend she texted me that she was raped. I ignored that too because I thought it was a ridiculous cry for attention, quite like angsty teenagers who tell everyone they're about to commit suicide.

The next day she texted me asking if I wanted to come over that night, like she usually did. Never brought that shit up again.

I've dealt with two other women in the past five years who lied about rape to me for various reasons. One was scared I'd be mad if I found out she concealed being pregnant with my child, the other just didn't want to have sex with me because I was being beta (I hadn't discovered Roosh's work yet).

All three were college students, by the way. I think there is some sort of secret knowledge where girls tell each other they can get away with just about anything and get all sorts of attention if they claimed they were raped. The Rape Card.

How is it that guys even spend years in prison on a false rape accusation when they never even slept with the woman?

What if I come to the cashier at the grocery store at the same time as another woman and she believes I cut in line. I could be accused of rape and spend 4 years in prison because I cut the line in front of her. The video evidence that we were in the same grocery store is enough to put me in prison.
