Recently at Stereosonic, a druggy EDM music festival notorious for attracting a certain type of guy, a sizeable fight broke out involving 40+ taking swings at each other, seemingly for no reason other than to join in a fight. Footage in link below. Aussie public is now building up towards a social media denunciation of what it sees as 'muscle culture', but in reality it's an unfortunate by-product of supply and demand with too few attractive girls and too many dudes pulling out the stops to give themselves a chance in a competitive dating market.

Australia has a pronounced (and on this forum well publicised) disparity between the sexes in terms of sexual attractiveness. This has led to a phenomenon where a significant minority of the male population has decided to embark on an arms race (no pun intended) to compete for the few hot girls who don't suffer from sub-par Anglo genetics and/or self inflicted obesity.

This is not really 'body building' where guys go for freakshow size but a more self-conscious pursuit of 'aesthetics' popularised by Zyzz, a Russian born Australian who died in his early 20s, most likely from heart failure caused by steroids and drug use. The point is to get girls. Gym culture in Australia is simply huge and has hit a new level of popularity since the mid-2000s. Alongside this but separate is jock culture from football and rugby which also produces its fair share of dickheads. There are hundreds of thousands of dudes just like Chris from Good Looking Loser hitting clubs and music festivals in search of pussy.

Unfortunately the girls are not hitting the gym to anywhere near the same extent as the male population leading to a disastrous surplus of physically imposing sex deprived dudes with a large sense of entitlement. Most of them date way down.

Look at northern people (Scandinavian, Russian, Baltic) or northern Asians - they have beautiful women and high IQ. Why? They had to adopt to constantly changing seasons. In other words climate changing tends to develop K-selection, constantly warm climate tends to develop R- selection.

It looks to me that Australians - although having white ancestry are becoming similar to Africans. They will become dumber by every generation, men will be selected on looks, testosterone and penis length and not IQ, but women will be fat. I would not be surprised that if left isolated at some point they would develop a melanin mutation and evolve (or devolve) back to the same appearance as Africans or even to that appearance and intellectual level and IQ of Australian Aborigines. Which by the way were so undeveloped intellectually that upon their discovery people wondered do they belong to humans species or should be classified as another species (average IQ said to be only 62).

Please understand this is not meant as something racist. The point is climate may have bigger influence on IQ, behavior and evolution then genetics and skin color.

To be honest, I am against that culture and so should you. What they mean with the poorly named muscle culture isn't guys going to the gym, even though most skinny fat betas do hate their physical superiors with a vengeance.

Standing on the festival looking from the sidelines with a beer in front of their chest, they wait for the girls to finally approach them. When that doesn't work, they get even more frustrated and aggressive and fights break out.

Do guys have to compete for fewer and less desirable girls? Sure. But these guys don't respond in a RVF manner where hitting the gym is part of bettering yourself. Do these guys read books? Do they know how to hold a thrilling conversation? Definitely not. These guys make it more difficult for us to approach and get laid. Stuff like that ruins the vibe.

We all recognize these guys reacting to changing social environments. And all those beta cultural critics should for once focus on that as the underlying reason of men's behavior. But it's shit behavior nonetheless and not helping anyone.

I think fitness and building yourself up to your full potential is inherently a positive goal but I have to agree here.

This is all about image and a gym muscle arms race for subpar pussy. This is basically why Xyzz was so popular in Australia.

Australia is no worse than Canada, the USA and id say the UK, although I have not lived in the UK. If anything it is easier in Australia, guys do not act so thirsty. You have the same prob with all western girls in my opinion, they rate themselves to highly, they are all supermodels in their head. Why do they do this? Because they can. You have to be competitive and it makes it that much easier.
