Damn right it could send a message to "alleged" victims of domestic violence.

That message would be that actions have consequences.

That if you are a legit victim you will be treated as such but if instead you are not, as soon as your malicious lies are exposed the full weight of the law will come down on your head just like they would on the abuser.
