Went to Cannes movie festival last year... This shit is crazy but you'll need contacts otherwise you won't enter anywhere...
My cousin's gf was organizing some private parties by the beach and that's how I got in.
Try the V.I.P club, difficult to get in but you will flip out...

A lot of private parties are thrown in the villas but very hard to find out. if you have an account on http://www.asmallworld.net check the parties and put yourself on the list.

Summer European Festıvals - Aprıl to Sept 2011

Good list but Kazamtip in Ukraine is reportedly one of the best festivals in the world. Some EE girls I know can't speak highly enough about it and as a month long party on the beach full of EE girls I don;t see how it can be anything other than amazing. Another thing to add is that Glastonbury puts every other western European to shame it is leagues ahead of the competition and high on my list of things I think people should do before they die.
