But that's a good point. Several guys have already replied with what are obviously their main gmail / yahoo addresses, which raised my eyebrows.

You don't need to divulge anything more revealing than your Paypal addresss for this gig, and worst case scenario is I scam you out of 15 minutes of your time. That's not going to happen, but, you weigh the risk.
