The attack itself is not interesting. It is yet another radical Islamic element in glorious multicultural Britannia.
And to be fair, the story is new so more details may come out that make me eat those words.

What I find interesting is the use of the term Freedom Fighter.

Do you think the British people will demand actions to be taken into radical elements after this or will they take the path of least resistance as usual?
I am betting the populace will be displeased and suspicious, but no official action will be taken.

Posting this tonight when it broke, follow up tomorrow. Now people know to look for it, and maybe see if the media is going for a certain angle on the story.

Anarchist Terrorists? That's one we haven't heard for about 100 years. Interesting if true.

Nothing on the BBC today, just a story about 4 Islamic terrorists that got caught planning a terrorist attack on Remembrance Sunday (our Veterans Day). I assume unrelated.

The BBC get slower and slower on controversial stories. Usually RVF is quicker than them, no wonder they have people reading this forum. I assume that they're making sure to cover their arse in how they tell the story. An outdated institution much like the monarchy, the BBC's continued existence depends on not pissing people off too much.

Wonder how long before enough is enough for the Brits. You know nothing will change as a result of this attempt. You almost have to wonder if anything would change if he had succeeded? Would that be enough to kick out a deliberately hostile group who has no intention of assimilating into your own culture?

Nobody gives a shit about average joe and jane being beheaded and blown up, the murders by ISIS and London Underground bombing proved this.

Hell we even let IRA scumbags out who are proven murderers. They enjoyed their Guiness I assure you. Not so for the victims who were blown into pieces or made to suffer for the rest of their lives.

There is this disconnect in reality with the public of the UK. As long as we have American and British Drama, tea on the table and can get drunk, fuck and get hungover on friday/saturday we don't care. Life goes on they say which to me is extremely ignorant in the face of these islamists in our country.

You even see it in the newspapers and police speeches where they go on about how ISIS has turned off potential recruits for their campaign, citing ignorance of their grande campaign and what it entails.

They know what is involved and they want it, they want to feel someone die in their hands and shoot infidels. But we the British public? Oh I am sure its a misunderstanding because they're young and stupid.

I'm pretty sure the plebs and elite of past empires said that exact thing. Right before they imploded from the disease within.

Well one of your biggest problems is you fail to ask why groups like the IRA felt compelled to do what they did. I guess the fact that scumbag elements in your armed forces butchered and murdered innocent unarmed people in Northern Ireland escaped your attention.
