Romania, Hungary, or Moldova?

Romania, Hungary, or Moldova?

Fellas,
I'm trying to decide between Romania, Hungary, or Moldova for a 2 week trip in March 2015. Me: 5'9", Asian-American, athletic build, decent looking, well-traveled, out-going and social. The reason I'm going in March is because the ticket prices are cheap...in April the prices jump substantially. I have a Moldovan friend in my city that has family and friends living in Chisinau that can help me find cheap accommodation and be able to show me around. Getting with their social circle can help. Not sure what the women are like there and if they are DTF. It's the poorest country in Europe so I'm assuming there won't be much to do and it's probably an industrial shit-hole. Anyone traveled to Moldova want to chime in?
For Romania, my Moldovan friend's cousin lives there, however, I already contacted the cousin and she's going through some rough times with a sick mother, so she might not be available to help me or show me around. In terms of Hungary, don't know anyone there. Moldova's probably the cheapest, followed by Romania then Hungary.
I'm looking to party (but not too much since I'm in my 30's) and meet hot EE girls that are down. Anyone with insights, recommendations, tips, and ideas, please speak up. (And yes I've read the threads on Romania, Hungary, and Moldova....but I'm still on the fence about which country to go).

Romania, Hungary, or Moldova?

I just came back from 8 days in Budapest, and I have lived for 7 months in Romania, so I feel qualified to give you some advice (this is my first post in the forums btw, and I'm an Italian citizen).

Romania has gorgeous women, better than Hungarian women in my opinion. They take care of themselves, dress well, and 99% of them are slim and in good shape (you'll be hard-pressed to spot a fatty in that country). They are also friendly and easy to talk to. Also, there isn't a whole lot of Asians there (they are actually very rare), which might give you an advantage with some girls.
The country is underrated and full of beautiful spots (the city of Timisoara is a favorite of mine, but for a first-time visitor I would recommend Bucharest and/or Cluj-Napoca, plus the whole of Transylvania with its castles and mountain resorts). Be wary of the weather, in March thre might still be snow, and the temperatures will be very low (little above 0 °C).
Romanian cuisine is crap, but in supermarkets in the larger cities you'll find pretty much anything when it comes to food.
Most (young) people can speak some English; Spanish and Italian are also popular languages there. Learn a little bit of Romanian (how to say "thank you", "good morning", etc.) just in case, because older people tend to care a lot about formalities and might treat you coldly and/or with suspicion when they realize you are a foreigner who can't speak any Romanian.
Overall, nice country and my first choice among the 3 you listed, especially because the girls are so damn pretty.
Day game, online game and night game all work well in Romania.

Moldovan women are supposedly similar to Romanians (and slutty, the saying goes), but I haven't been in the country myself so I can't confirm. Moldova is also the cheapest country out of the three, definitely. I doubt there's much to see or to do there, though; I heard from friends who went there that even the capital is kind of ugly and you can still smell communism. Moldova is also renown for its wine, you might want to take the chance and taste it if you go there (being from Italy, I have a whole different taste for wines, but to an American even Moldovan wine could be satisfying - no offense intended, of course).

Budapest is a gorgeous city (seriously, it's beautiful) and has a great night life. Prices are considerably higher than in the other two countries, but still well below American standards. Hungarian girls came off as cold and stuck-up to me (don't be surprised if some waitressess and shop assistants treat you rudely/coldly, it's the culture), and they are less pretty than Romanian girls on average, but you can still find many cute ones. Budapest is also full of foreigners; it could be a good idea to hit on a few girls from other countries, many of them go out at night and get wasted (yesterday I received a hug by a drunk girl while walking on a street, completely randomly and out of the blue). If you go out alone at night, get ready to be approached by prostitues (I met at least 6-7 of them; some are discreet, others will walk straight to you and grab your coat, as it happened to me the first night in the city lol).
Virtually everybody can speak English in the city center. I don't know about Hungarian food, but there are many Thai and Italian restaurants (also, Thai massage parlours, which I heard offer all kinds of services; haven't been there myself though, I only visited one in Bucharest (Romania) and it was a pleasant experience, if a bit overpriced).

Moldova is FSU, so they are absolutely not DTF in the Western sense of the word. The resistance will be tough, they will want you as a boyfriend, and it may take several dates.

Romanian and Hungarian girls are easy whores, go there.

Bucharest is quite a nice city and I would recommend that city. It has decent transportation and if you stay near the center (piata uniri), it should be a decent place to meet young women. From the 3, if you have 2 weeks, I would say bucharest

Questions like these are stupid, everyone will have a different answer.

OP is average height, claims he is decent looking an Asian. Not to be rude but that does not tell us much, what does he think we are going to say go to Moldova cos the girls will be on their knees.

Do the research on the forum before you post thread like these.

Rant Over!!

Troubled Joe, thanks for the info. After speaking some more with my Moldovan friend, I think Romania would be better too. She confirmed what I suspected and what you said....it's the cheapest place of the three but there's really not much to do in Moldova and it's a pretty depressing place. She recommended that I visit Bucharest and Timisoara. Definitely want to check out the castles. In your personal experience, was there a lot of resistance from the girls in Romania? Are they receptive and DTF? ONS? No offense taken about the wine part....lol

Tajikistan, always liked your candidness. Straight to the point, no pussy-footing around. Much obliged.

Xadmin, thanks for the intel.

Rudebwoy, not sure what you are ranting about. As I have clearly stated in my post, I did do research on the forum. There is not much info about Moldova (vs another country like Poland and Czech Republic) on the forum. Of course everyone will have a different answer, that's pretty self-evident. However, not everyone have visited all three countries. I am simply asking any forum members that might have visited all three countries and their opinions of each, in comparison to each other.

I have been to Budapest and Bucharest before. I think it will be tough for you rolling solo at high-end places in Bucharest. Very much a table centric crowd. I went with 2 other guys for a couple of days and got tables which are actually quite cheap (~$100) but struggled as most of the girls either were with guys or not interested in us. On our last night met up with a guy from roosh and he took us to a regular bar and 2 out of 3 us pulled average looking girls. If you have sometime on the ground you might have a shot with the high-end girls, which are some of the best I have ever seen.

Budapest definitley gets a lot more tourists so you will be a lot less exotic there, but might be kinder if you are rolling solo.

1. Install tinder
2. Get fake gps
Rotate your location between budapest, chisnau and bucharest.

See if you get any decent matches
I always do this before going to a country, it gives you a good estimate on how successful you'll be on the field.

My wild guess is that you'll fair out better in Moldova, not many foreigners let alone asians go there, so you'll have that exotic card. But tinder can give you unrealistic results there because I don't think many girls use Tinder since its a poor country, smartphone penetration should be really low. Romania is probably your best bet, its something between Hungary and Moldova.

Romania, Hungary, or Moldova?

I live in the UK and I'm sure if you have heard any of the news on immigration that the UK is overrun with foreigners. It is true. In London I go into a shop or a bus and I am the only person speaking any English. So at work we took on a load of temp workers. Out of the 50 only 10% were English the rest from Slovakia/Spain/Romania/Moldova etc. See how many are coming here...

One Moldovan girl was about 22, and absolutely stunning. Outgoing, perfect English. I could not keep my eyes off her and great conversation. Unfortunately my asshole of a boss noticed me chatting a lot to these girls and moved me elsewhere. I also met another one she was stunning too. I actually am thinking of going to Moldova myself. These girls have an air about them. In Moldova less tourists are there from UK/US than in say Hungary. From that point of view you are probably a rarer breed. Its a cheaper place to live in. But not so cheap to fly to.

This is a great forum by the way
