Special K "jeans" commercial made me laugh out loud

This shit made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes (for real). My fwb punched me in the shoulder several times laughing and telling me to "quit it" which only fanned the flames.

Size "strong" was the funniest which is another word for fat. Of course the hilarity ensues at the end when they state "You are so much more than a number" because the commercial is for Special K which markets weight loss which is quantifiable....a number. "To feel amazing, that's what makes a woman beautiful." The woman who uttered this phrase doesn't believe that for one second.

Making women feel good about being fat is another fat acceptance ploy. Women lap this shit up and it only weakens their resolve to get their asses up at 4am to hit the gym. God help us all.

The only time a woman is more than just a number is when it comes to how big her tits are....or aren't....

Women don't like having numbers applied to them, but they're fine with using them on prospective men. Don't message me if you 1) make less than $120k per year 2) are under 6'2'' 3) over 30, etc.

The tape measure with all the words on it, I died when they put it around a chubby chick and said "you are radiant". The whole commercial is contradictive, "be happy you're fat, but eat our low cal health cereal". It would be more fitting for fruit loops.

The person who came up with ad is likely a dude working at Kelloggs Head Office who has a mercenary logical approach to brand marketing. He has done market research that tells him Special K sales will increase if they make an ad targeted at women with insecurities about their weight (95% of the female population). He officially presented the video concept to a meeting with another dude who is either Kellogs Head of Product Marketing or equivalent and they signed off his budget, allowing him to commission a cynical video that facilitates a woman's desire to escape from reality in exchange for her money.

Notice that in this add, they didn't actually show a really fat woman, with a "grotesque", huge ass... they showed women with quite ok asses, hardly even plump...

So, they are saying : having a wide ass is ok, but, we won't show one in our ad, cause actually it IS quite disgusting....

Discussing the "concept" of having fat asses, they can do it, but as to actually showing them... they wouldn't. [Image: wink.gif]

I find it hilarious that a brand of crap "food" thats marketed as "helping you lose weight" is on the other hand telling women that its ok to be fat. Im guessing the aim is to press that brand into fatties mind.

"You are:

rotund
bovine
overflowing
jovian
robust
osteomegalic
plethorical
ample
uncircumventable
adipose
corpulent
stout
portly
spheroidal
substantial
globoid
planetoidal
bursting"

Just as the Eskimos had 100's of words for the different types of snow, English has an vocabulary to describe fatness that is expanding as fast as our waistlines.

I wouldn't feel too superior about it; it's blatantly ripped off from custom condom sizing.

The numbers and letters of the sizes are randomized so that guys don't feel ashamed about their dick size.
