And, by all accounts, Boatwright felt welcome on campus — until the day he announced that he wanted to run for the school’s office of multicultural affairs coordinator, whose job is to promote a “culture of diversity” on campus.


But some students thought that allowing Boatwright to have the position would just perpetuate patriarchy. They were so opposed, in fact, that when the other three candidates (all women of color) dropped out, they started an anonymous Facebook campaign encouraging people not to vote at all to keep him from winning the position.
“I thought he’d do a perfectly fine job, but it just felt inappropriate to have a white man there,” the student behind the so-called “Campaign to Abstain” said.

“It’s not just about that position either,” the student added. “Having men in elected leadership positions undermines the idea of this being a place where women are the leaders.”

Boatwright told the Times that his high-school friends knew he was transgender, but he identified himself as female on the application to Wellesley because he didn’t want his mom to know. Of course, Wellesley is also a female school, and “it seemed awkward to write an application essay for a women’s college on why you were not a woman,” he said.

Also, identified as a woman because didn't want mother to know (pronouns intentionally left out, btw)? How hard would it be to turn the application in without mother going over EVERY box that was posted (or changing answers after). Knew that that wouldn't be granted admission if identified as a man and tried to dupe the school. Insane.

For so many years women and SJWs have been pushing the idea that men and women are exactly the same, except that they have different private parts. This is coming from the same hilarious place about how feminists got into screaming matches at conferences about whether or not transgender men could participate in feminism - the argument being that if you ever once had a penis in your life you couldn't know what it was like to be a woman. Feminism truly is the communism of sex, and makes just as much sense as communism did economically.

No, feminists love male to female transsexuals (which most transsexuals are). Remember these feminists don't believe in such a thing as "male brain". If a person "feels" like a man, they are one to feminists especially once they've transitioned. Hence why they don't want a "white male" as their Diversity officer.

Operating under their ideological framework, they have no choice but to be angry about this white female to male transsexual running for Diversity officer, to accept it would mean that a trans person is inherently different to a "cis" person. Basically a trans woman is a real woman like any other to them, so this wannabe Diversity officer must be just like any other white man and having a white man as their Diversity rep makes a mockery of the position, so they must oppose it.
