What is the gospel - the good news of progressivism and of modern society in general? You can be anyone you want to be. Follow your every desire and anyone who tries to stop you is just some tight-ass wet blanket who is under the spell of archaic thought systems whether religious or cultural (insert plenty of references to "Bronze age" and "2000 years ago" since old automatically means bad apparently). There's a reason such people are enamored with the idea of the blank slate and constantly overstate the power and influence of culture.

Progressivism also hates any sort of differences between different groups whether it be religions, nations, tribes, or even just individuals since for prerequite for any sort of judgement of good vs bad, better vs worse, winner and loser is that there is a difference between the two things being measured. If we are just one indistinct blob with no one has to worry about feeling inferior to anyone else.

Making everyone some blob is insane. I'm a supporter of transhumanism but I actually do research into the technologies and plan on jumping into this field myself. Some of that shit you quoted is a bit... extreme to say the least lol. Progressives can go fuck themselves to be honest.

I've touched on it in a previous post, but it's very interesting to me that the "grey alien" archetype is upheld as a model for a successful futuristic civilization. The whole thing is a modern myth, but it's captured the zeitgeist as what an advanced species is supposed to be.

Some interesting characteristics commonly ascribed to gray aliens in their mythos:
1) No sexual dimorphism - all physically appear identical
2) No sexual characteristics at all - often portrayed as having featureless Ken- and Barbie-style genital regions, supposedly reproduce via cloning or genetic engineering
3) Physically weak - note the tiny limbs, lack of musculature. They do not perform any strenuous or challenging physical activities, they do not make things with their hands
4) Telepathic - Have evolved beyond the need for supposedly inferior human-style physical communication (voice, touch, body-language)
5) Hive mind - no strong individuality, all work for the common good, no division or strife
6) Very environmentally conscious - make a point to shame humans they encounter for destroying nature, appear to have advanced technology that causes no pollution (but oddly they won't share with humans despite scolding them for their "dirty" technology)
7) Generally see humans as beneath them - because we're violent, macho, make kids by having sex, build things with our hands instead of growing them via techno-magic, cut down trees, farm fields, etc

Now, read that list again. Am I describing an alien or am I describing the average Tumblr-obsessed SJW weirdo? The stereotypical Marxist academic? The smug skinny-fat SWPL liberal journalist? The social-media obsessed woman who would starve if she couldn't order carryout?

Keep in mind these "aliens" are the advanced species, a model for us to follow.

Progressives are, without a doubt, a gradualist flavor of Marxists. It's in the name. They view civilization as "progressing" toward some near-utopian point where Bad Things don't happen and everything is easy and life is perfect. To get there, the Bad Things must be stopped by any means necessary. This includes legal measures, it includes cultural measures, it includes propaganda and brainwashing.

Aliens are the Progressive ideal. Perfectly equal blank slates who do nothing to upset each other or the environment. It's the culmination some bizarre Disneyfied view of what it means to be human, where good guys are good, and bad guys are bad, sex is icky, magic happens, and all the elves and fairies and forest creatures get together and throw a big party in the end and no one has to worry about anything. Only substitute scientists and academic technocrats for the elves and fairies and make sure none of the dirty unwashed masses show up and you're describing the exact goal of the Elites that wish to rule over everyone.

Academia and science has been taken over by progressives/feminists. As seen by the Zoe Quinn debacle, technology is well on its way to joining them. That is a lot of money, influence, and brainpower devoted to a singular, twisted ideology. You should expect the end result of all this to be both obvious and painful. We are going to be pushed, almost world-wide, into the "grey alien" ideal for a very long time before there is ever any correction (if there is ever any correction).

The grey alien ideal is just one vision of the future. Unfortunately it is the dominant one. I feel that we are on the verge of a new Dark Age while we continue to charge forward with zeal into dismantling the very things that make us human. Some "progress" in this manner is already noticeable, as we have clearly lost our ability to create art and literature that effectively communicates the human condition. Compare writings from 60-100 years ago and now. We have gone from H. L. Mencken to Lindy West. From Hemingway to The Hunger Games. We can no longer put to words the truths that were once self-evident, they will need to be rediscovered.

It doesn't have to be this way, and maybe after some time things will change. No one would think that to take a dog to the next level of dogginess you should start by removing all the things in its nature that make it a dog to begin with. But that is what the progressive ideal desires for humans. They would take a dog and stop it from wagging it's tail, cut off it's nose, give it the option to be a very bad imitation of a cat, make it stop fetching balls, and god forbid it does anything annoying like bark or drool. The concept would be absurd if it wasn't so disgusting.

Instead of turning into asexual blobs we can and should be molding ourselves into masculine men who represent the pinnacle of masculinity and feminine women who represent the pinnacle of femininity. We should be engaging with each other in meaningful ways, ways that enhance the natural channels we use to communicate. We should take all the things that make us human and amplify them, to make us better at the things we are good at and have deeper, richer, more fulfilling and more human lives.

Will we ever make it there? I doubt in my lifetime. To put in economic terms, we are in the midst of a gigantic market distortion. As mentioned previously, the consensus of practically every political, scientific, academic, and technological leader is a push toward making us the sexless interchangeable grey aliens. It will take monumental cultural shifts, the sort of shifts that are only possible after a complete collapse, before this worldview is purged from the intellectual sphere of thought. We will go very deep down the rabbit hole before we decide to come up for air, and hopefully there will be enough humanity left in us to start over again.

Regardless of who the idea may attract these days, the concept of technological singularity has its roots among science fiction writers, mathematicians, and academic philosophers.
People not exactly known for their acceptance of blue pill nonsense.

We'll have to wait and see if it involves mankind changing radically (and if that ends up being a good or bad thing), if it involves mankind being eradicated by Skynet, or for that matter if it happens at all.

It's interesting to think about, though.

It's pertinent to note that the grey aliens don't exist, at least in the sense that alien stories are fake. One solution to the Fermi paradox may be that cultures that try to tech themselves into eunuchs just fail to breed and self-annihilate through population decline. It's the height of human hubris to think that we've exempted ourselves from natural selection, which is a force of nature akin to the laws of thermodynamics. There are a lot more Mormons and Muslims fucking their way to the future than there are Jewish trannies.
